Billboard Chart Alert: • Alan Jackson snares his fourth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart as "Good Time" starts with 119,000. On Top Country Albums, it's his 12th chart-topper. His last studio set, 2006's Alison Krauss-produced "Like Red on a Rose," started with 149,000 at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top Country Albums. The new album's lead single, "Small Town Southern Man," rises to No. 2 this week on Hot Country Songs. It's the singer's 47th top 10 single on the chart and his biggest hit since "Remember When" spent two weeks at No. 1 in early 2004 • Taylor Swift becomes the first artist to simultaneously place two country songs on the CHR/Top 40 chart as "Our Song" debuts at No. 37. The track, which spent six weeks atop Hot Country Songs earlier this year, joins her former top 10 "Teardrops on My Guitar," which dips to No. 15. "Teardrops," meanwhile, continues its climb on the Adult Contemporary chart, where the ballad rises 11-10. I would say without a doubt, that is the shortest chart highlights page ever.
As for Lee Brice, I'm hoping that song pulls an "Almost Home" and goes Top 10.

Even if CR isn't rising overall, it's cool to see it making its way back up Country Albums. Hopefully "Last Name" gets it back on top there :)
And was "LM" really the only true debut this week? Wow.

Hit Predictor has been updated, and it looks like Rodney did go recurrent this week. That means that all the songs listed below Rodney are one spot higher than what is listed ("It's Good To Be Us" is #11 instead of #12, "All-American Girl" is #12 instead of #13, and so on).

Surprised Lonestar made it on. They've been doing good on the other Mediabase though, so maybe that's what got them on. Also alittle surprised at how high Jamey got on.

Billboard Chart Alert• Country king George Strait nabs his fourth No. 1 album on The Billboard 200 as "Troubadour" starts with 166,000. Over on Top Country Albums, Strait celebrates his 22nd chart-topper -- increasing his tally as the artist with the most No. 1s. The Billboard 200 has seen at least one new entry from Strait every year since 1984; while Top Country Albums has welcomed new Strait sets on a yearly basis since 1981. All told, he's racked up 38 albums on the country tally, stretching back to "Strait Country." On Hot Country Songs, the new album's lead single, "I Saw God Today," maintains its bullets at No. 2, stuck behind Trace Adkins' "You're Gonna Miss This."

Lonestar must be getting good airplay at a station or two that isn't on the regular MB panel. That was very surprising, their chart debut. They're doing better in the new week so they ought to climb higher.

Yeah, Lonestar's debut was a little surprising. I wish Richie would get a song on the charts now.

Yeah, Lonestar's debut was a little surprising. I wish Richie would get a song on the charts now. I think he's more concerned with Christian radio now.

Also alittle surprised at how high Jamey got on. I've been hearing his song a lot on the radio this week, which is surprising considering I usually don't hear a song that low on the charts very frequently (if at all), but I think I've heard this about 3-4 times since the beginning of the week, and before this week, I had never heard the song. Great song by the way! I hope it continues to climb!

Can the name of Alan Jackson's CD be changed to Good Time on the weekly #1's for March 22 and 29? It is listed as STSM.

^I assume SGG mistakingly listed Alan's album as Small Town Southern Man instead of Good Time (on the first post of the thread).
