Oh dear god at Bon Jovi, those numbers are awful. What About Now opened with 101k so that's like 70% drop I guess people finally woke up. It's an album out of outtakes, not "a full scale release": More Details Emerge on Bon Jovi’s New ‘Album for Fans’ultimateclassicrock.com/bon-jovi-burning-bridges-for-fans/Aug. 21 will see the release of Burning Bridges, the first effort of Bon Jovi‘s post-Richie Sambora era. Today, we’re starting to learn a bit more about the album and the first two singles that will arrive within the next month, but there are still several unanswered questions. A spokesperson for the band told Billboard that it is “an album for fans and will accompany an upcoming international tour.” However, the person added that “the band is hard at work on their next album, which will see a full-scale release in 2016.” With little distance between the two, it could be interpreted to suggest that Burning Bridges is a largely collection of outtakes. It's still new, previously unreleased material, it sounds. However, it would be different from past releases if the band/label hasn't worked a single at any radio formats.

Well if they sold 130 million records then what more do they have to prove?
Carly numbers are not surprising considering the circumstances.

Bon Jovi is still better than that Carly Ray Jeppson. You can try to make it sound like a success but for a band that has sold 130 million records worldwide it really isn't Even re-releases by Led Zeppelin reach those kind of numbers. It is an album of basically throwaway tracks.

No, some of them are great (you might have to go back over a decade though). We're not talking about Chantal Kreviazuk here.

And I kid, of course. I know Bon Jovi have had their days of impact and influence in the 80s and 90s. Agreed about the "over a decade" and would probably say almost 2 decades. They really lost me after It's My Life and its rehashes, but Who Says You Can't Go Home was killer.

It's My Life wins simply because of their hilariously shameless and tongue in cheek description of themselves as a "man band" during the height of the teen pop era.

It's My Life wins simply because of their hilariously shameless and tongue in cheek description of themselves as a "man band" during the height of the teen pop era. The irony of that song is that it was written & produced by Max Martin too.

Ghost selling 25K isn't that surprising to me anymore after yesterday, where a line to get into one of their concerts stretched out over three city blocks.
They offered free autographs to those who bought their album on vinyl, so I think you can add 500 more to that forecast.

I didn't even think about Rob being on Atlantic factoring in to his exclusion.
As for Bon Jovi, they released the album primarily to end their relationship with Mercury. The last song on the album (and title track) slams them directly and they've already been removed from the roster.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6678351/disturbed-fifth-no-1-album-billboard-200Disturbed On Course for Fifth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 ChartBy Keith Caulfield | August 27, 2015 Rock band Disturbed is on course for its fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Immortalized. The album is the group’s sixth studio effort, and was released on Reprise/Warner Bros. Records on Aug. 21. Industry forecasters suggest the set could shift around 90,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Aug. 28. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the Sept. 12-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Disturbed will likely open at No. 1) is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s Web sites on Sunday, Aug. 30. If Disturbed debuts at No. 1, it will make the act just the third group to score five consecutive No. 1-debuting studio albums. They would join Metallica (five No. 1-debuting studio sets between 1991-2008) and Dave Matthews Band (six; 1998-2012). Immortalized is Disturbed’s first studio set since 2010’s Asylum, which opened atop the Billboard 200 with 179,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. The act previously led the list with Indestructible (released in 2008), Ten Thousand Fists (2005) and Believe (2002). Other new albums aiming for a debut in the Billboard 200’s top 10 include Kip Moore’s Wild Ones (around 30,000 to 40,000) and Rob Thomas’ The Great Unknown (30,000 to 35,000)

Melanie Martinez makes no sense to me. 7k raw sales but 11k SPS? There's no way without a hit single she's moving 4k TEA/SEA. None of her tracks are anywhere near the digital songs or streaming charts.

Bon Jovi might not reach top ten?
Last time they struggled this hard with This Left Feels Right (2003) and that was a November release and contained only acoustic re-recordings.

None of her tracks are anywhere near the digital songs or streaming charts. Dollhouse has been a very constant presence on the Music Video chart on iTunes due to its 99 cent price. Obviously, that doesn't explain all 4,000 units, but I think it can count for at least 1,000 or 2,000.
