Poor Carly. It has good word of mouth from the few who are hearing it though.

So the streak continues.
Surprised to see Ghost B.C. selling 25K. I guess there is a market for satanic doom metal.

Oh, Carly. *sigh* HITS likely conveniently forgot him, considering he's on Atlantic.

Poor Carly. It has good word of mouth from the few who are hearing it though. It's getting nearly unanimous love.. I'd like to see Carly become a cult star

I thought Disturbed would do a bit better, but it has been 5 years since their last major release. Bon Jovi's numbers aren't super bad too taking into account that it's literally a collection of rejected songs. Rob Thomas' absence is a bit embarrassing considering that he's likely opening much higher than any of the ones mentioned aside from possibly Disturbed.

Well, isn't he clearly going to be #1? LOL I wouldn't think so...his last album only did 122K, he's very much fallen off the radar since then, and he's only #13 on iTunes (granted, his demo isn't going to be iTunes-centric; but the same can be said about Bon Jovi). But he should do better than some of the bottom albums on that list.

I'm kind of surprised Kip Moore is pulling 30-35k because of how his singles have performed on country radio. He's only had one song that have reached top 20 on country radio from Wild Ones, but good for him for selling that much with less radio support this time around!

No Wilco? I guess the early free release must have affected it like U2's album.

I'm sorry but those numbers for Carly Rae Jepsen are embarrassing. She's heading towards Japanese car commercial status faster than expected

^Perhaps filming more commercials for Excedrin Migraine.
The projection for Bon Jovi's album is kinda disappointing. Granted, album sales aren't what they used to be, but you'd think it would be good for at least 50K or so, given its history.

Carly's numbers are unfortunately expected since she has no actual hit from this album yet. They are embarrassing. Not so much on Carly Rae's part, but moreso on Scooter Braun and his team's. With the big push the lead single received and the production costs, that this is all that could be ultimately mustered reflects badly on their ability. Pushing the US release back was a terrible idea. The lead single didn't hit, but she had some exposure from it and the promo they did for that, they should have launched it at the same time as in Japan and hope that some curiosity from the promo would have led to some people picking it up. They took a bad situation and just made it worse several times over.

Clearly Justin is the priority so surely Carly's album era could have been pushed back into the new year if it meant actually achieving some level of success.

I'm not surprised though. Even in 2012 when she was the hottest thing in pop music, she couldn't even move 50k first week. She was literally every where and in every show. Nobody was interested in an album from her

Wavé- Sparks has suffered from migraines (which is no fun at all- my other half used to get them regularly), and she films commercials for that product. As for her album- given how her last album performed and that there's no hit single, I imagine it won't do much in its opening frame.

Oh dear god at Bon Jovi, those numbers are awful. What About Now opened with 101k so that's like 70% drop

Bon Jovi did have a ticket/album promotion with an album some years ago, but I don't think it did for the last one?

Bon Jovi is still better than that Carly Ray Jeppson. You can try to make it sound like a success but for a band that has sold 130 million records worldwide it really isn't Even re-releases by Led Zeppelin reach those kind of numbers.
