Here's another song that sounds very old school. This sounds like 70's funk. It's decent but the screaming is a little excessive.

she was from sounds of blackness right? that should have been the first hint about the screaming. I haven't heard this yet but am curious to see what she's doing. I liked "put it on paper" enough last year that it got to mid 50s on my weekly.

If you haven't already, check out their "...gospel" album, with "The Pressure" "Optimistic" and "Testify" on it. Great stuff!! As close as I could get to playing urban music at the bar that no one was familiar with yet get good responses from it, especially 1st 2 tracks mentioned.

I don't own the album, but I've heard "Optimistic" and "The Pressure".
"Optimistic" is probably my favorite gospel track of all time.
