What happened with their album? I don' t think it got a release in any country, but was supposed to come out in September. "Love On The Run" was already released, and the follow up was scheduled to be "Locking Down". Anybody know what happened?

I have no idea! I would really like to know, I would probably buy the new album. LOTR was a good song and it was promoted decently but then they seem to have given up since it wasn't a huge hit.
It's also like WTF happened to iiO's album "Poetica" that has never seen the light of day... same with their single "Smooth" that hasn't been properly released. Quite frustrating since Chicane and iiO are great quality dance music, worthy of having an album (unlike most).

Look on Ebay.com for it. I bought a promo CD of Chicane's recent album Easy To Assemble. It is actually a pretty good album. And speaking of iiO, their album Poetica is available at www.iiomusic.com. It takes a long time to load.

Anyone have any more info on a commercial release of the album Easy To Assemble?
I previously mentioned I had the promo, but I was just wondering about what had happened.
BTW, does anyone know where the full ATB remix of "Daylight" by Chicane is available? I have the ATB mix CD that has the track on it, but it's not full. Just wondering.

The Jewel track is good. I love tons of their stuff.
Rauhofer's mix of "Don't Give Up" is among my favorite remixes ever. Classic.

I know this is a Chicane thread, but I have to respond to the iio questions. It was already mentioned that the album is available at their site, and also Smooth was easily available, and a fantastic single at that. Check their website or www.perfectbeat.com Poetica is amazing as well. Pick it up. Peace, Ben

Wow! It doesn't sound like Jewel. On the CD promo I have of Easy To Assemble, it sounds so different. Mine is more like a dub. This one sounds like a vocal track. My promo might not have been official. The "Cloud No. 9" track was actually by Bryan Adams, and Chicane did a remix of it. It was available on a single. I'll try to hunt it down. I have liked some of Chicane's remixes. The remix of Billie Ray Martin's "Honey" was pretty good. Very mellow. It really went with the rest of the stuff that came out during the Behind The Sun era. It's too bad "Strong In Love" was left off of the album. And same with the remixes. There were some really good remixes that came out. Like the Thrillseekers mixes of "Saltwater" and "Autumn Tactics." I loved the End Of Summer Mix. I have been looking for that ever since it came out. It had a nice latin feel to it. And that Club 69 Roxy Anthem of "Don't Give Up" was an epic. The remixes from Easy To Assemble were pretty good. I heard the Blank & Jones and Rob Seale mixes of "Love On The Run." And the Rishi Rich mix of "Locking Down" was really good. And I loved that ATB mix of "Daylight."
