Ryan Adams's cover of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" is set to impact AAA on Monday, the same day as the release of his 1989 cover album, according to FMQB. Listen: Apple Music

Stealing song titles from Bastille is not cool - which is why I can't listen to this song, no matter who sings it

He was the first person to use it on a radio single since 1975, no? And then, the next year, Taylor Swift mysteriously uses it...

That's still wrong, but even if that were true, again, they were not the first act to use that title. And I highly doubt that Taylor would wanna steal from an alternative band.

Who else put out a radio single called Bad Blood after Neil Sedaka in 1975? Why does it have to be a radio single? So you're saying that if an album track was titled "Bad Blood", it would be looked down on because it's not a single? Your argument make zero sense.

"Bad Blood" by Supergrass - Forgot to put the song in the post. It was a UK single.

Wow, just saw that he remade the entire Taylor Swift album - not sure what would possess someone to do that, but I actually want to see what Out Of The Woods sounds like - Shake It Off and Blank Space must sound awful btw

I'd take 1984 over 1989 any day (as far as Ryan Adams albums go). I like his Blank Space and Style covers more than Bad Blood.

The album is awesome. "Welcome To New Your", "All You Had to do Was Stay" and "Style" are my favorite ones. Kind of a funny but creative idea to do this album.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from carpoolers with random and much more casual music tastes when playing "I Will Survive" by Cake, and "99 Red Balloons" by Goldfinger. And a friend of mine's favorite song ever is Mudvayne's cover of "King of Pain".
(I only read this topic because with a topic about a Ryan Adams song with a familiar song title, and 28 replies, there HAD to have been a discussion about covers :) .)
