A few questions with Corb Lund, done by Chuck Schultz (via Roughstock) about Corb's new album, Things That Can't Be Undone:

Geez, he sounds like kind of a gruff guy based on that interview...

Geez, he sounds like kind of a gruff guy based on that interview... Corb's a really nice guy but yeah, he can come off as a little blunt in interviews. One thing about him is that he is more shy than most other artists at least in the interviews I've seen over the years. He refers to the bad songs he's written as "crap songs."

I've never listened to Corb before, but I thought this was pretty solid.
Love: Weight Of The Gun Run This Town Alt-Berliner Blues Sadr City (favorite track) Washed Up Rock Star Factory Blues S Lazy H
Like: Alice Eyes Goodbye Colorado Talk Too Much
Meh: Sunbeam
Like I said, pretty dang solid. There's surprisingly a lot of diverse sounds here. "Weight Of The Gun" is like Motown-ish, Alice Eyes is a straight up country tune, Sadr City is sort of psychedelic sounding, Goodbye Colorado sounds like something Waylon might have done. I've heard people say that "Sunbeam" sounds like Sturgill Simpson, and while I love Sturgill, this is really the only track I could do without. I know not many people here will listen to this, but you should give it a try! :)
