Following radio formats: Mainstream Top 40, Rhythmic CHR, Urban Contemporary, Adult Contemporary, Hot AC, Country, Dance, Mainstream Rock, Active Rock, Alternative, Triple A, and Urban AC.
My ideal radio station would mix of current Hip-Hop/R&B as well as occasional Rhythmic Pop and Electronic Dance Music songs, along with a heavy throwback playlist of the 2000s, '90s and late '80s playing old school urban jams, along with House/Freestyle tracks.
Examples of Current Hits on my radio station: Drake, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Usher, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar, just to name a few.
Gold/Recurrents: 2Pac, Aaliyah, Notorious B.I.G., Snap, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliott, Ghost Town DJ's, Kanye West, Eminem, Planet Soul, Ice Cube, Ja Rule, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Nas, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Nelly, the list goes on.

Pop/Eletronic/Rap would be ideal with the occasional 90s Rock song.

My radio stations would be and oldie stations but would include songs that are currently in the top 10 on the pop chart and I would only played the oldies that were charting the Hot 100 that week
(example: If today's date was November 1, I would only play the song between 1955-2015 that were in the Hot 100 around that date.)
and every weekend I would play the chart songs of a certain in the order they peaked on the pop chart starting with 1964 in which the Beatles invaded the US.

By the way, based on how I described my playlist earlier, it would be considered a Rhythmic CHR that leans Urban, emphasize on Golds/Recurrents while playing mainly hit-driven rhythmic pop/hip-hop currents.

For me it'd be mainly modern rock, thinking Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys, Linkin Park, Mumford & Sons, etc. Darker/heavier pop and hip-hop tracks will also find a place (along the lines of The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar).
