We have one of these kinds of threads in the "Nostalgia" forum (btw, why is it there?). Anyway, title sort of explains itself. What are some country songs you've heard come on the speakers while strolling through the various stores in your neighborhood?
Today: Walmart- Dierks Bentley- "Home", Jason Michael Carroll- "Let Me", George Strait- "It Just Comes Natural"

My place of employment recently switched the format. Now, they play what I call a 'token' country song an hour. People are amazed I tell them what year and how high it got on the charts.

I heard "It Matters to Me" and "You Gotta Love That" in the Meijer in Alpena once. Really weird, since their muzak was otherwise quite far removed from 90's country.
My sister used to work at a Rite Aid and she said that she heard "Bruises" a lot over the speakers.
Tim Horton's used to pipe in satellite radio, and I would occasionally hear weird country picks like "15 Minutes of Shame" by Kristy Lee Cook, "Songs for Sale" by David Nail, and "She Sure Got Away with My Heart" by John Anderson.
If I hear country in a store, it's usually WKJC. I almost ran screaming out of Goodwill today after they played "God Made Girls".

Yesterday while I was in Target picking up Carrie's new album, they had her acoustic session of "Heartbeat" playing.
When I went to buy George Strait's new album, Walmart was playing Blake Shelton's "Bringing Back The Sunshine."

I cannot think of any recent examples... But I do remember, when the Christmas season rolls around, I start to hear Martina's christmas music EVERYWHERE!! Big stores, little stores, the radio... Her Christmas album has held up extremely well among the general public, and still seems to have legs every Christmas despite the fact that it is now like 16 years old. I know I hear at least one of her Christmas songs in Wal-Mart almost every time I go in there in December.

A few weeks ago, I heard "I Wish I Could Break Your Heart" by Cassadee Pope in Walmart twice within a one-week span. That was weird.

I miss that big one on Transit Road that's now a hobby and craft store. Media Play was fantastic back when they were still around.

Very close to the regal cinemas theater. zack97 They closed in 2009 or 2010, so it would make sense if you had never been there before since that was a while ago.

I don't usually pay attention to what music is playing at the store, but a couple months ago, I heard "Burning House" by Cam at my local Family Dollar

I work at Walmart, so I hear all kinds of music lol
Lately though, I've been hearing a lot more country than usual. I was in a different store helping them out Sunday and Monday, and heard quite a big of 90s country. Favorite one I heard was "What Might Have been".

I remember at a Brunswick bowling alley last year hearing:
"Love Is War" - American Young "Want Me Too" - Charlie Worsham "We Rode In Trucks" - Luke Bryan
Needless to say I was jamming out.
