I love the song, but with some of his recent albums I just can't help but crack up when I hear the lyric "I'm a little more ol' Hank Williams than that trendy crap" in "How I'll Always Be"...I mean, let's be real for a second here (Lookin' For That Girl, Truck Yeah...) Oh THAT's what he's saying. Thanks! I've never been able to make out 'trendy crap' when I hear the song, and then I always forget to google the lyrics later on.

Lol. You're right. I didn't realize that is what he is saying. Those two songs are the epitome of "trendy crap."

I heard "Indy" at first, which admittedly makes sense but doesn't seem likely lol.

Well, if you take the lyrics literally, he is not saying he doesn't do trendy crap, he is just saying hie is more 'ol Hank than that. And judging by his whole catalog, it's a true statement.

this is my favorite album from Tim's Big Machine era. I thought Sundown Heaven Town and Two Lanes of Freedom were both very strong albums but they each had a couple of terrible bro country songs, Southern Girl and Truck Yeah from TLOF and Looking for That Girl and Keep on Truckin on SDHT. There isn't a single song on the CD that I don't like, although Top of the World is my least favorite, I will never understand how Tim picks his lead singles because it's almost always the worst song on the CD. This is how I would rank the songs from favorite to least favorite:
1.How I'll Always Be 2.Don't Make me Feel at Home 3.Damn Country Music 4.Humble and Kind 5.Here Tonight 6.California 7.What You're Looking for 8.Country and Western 9.Want You Back 10.Losin You 11.Kiss a Girl 12.Love Runs 13.Top of the World 14.Everybody's Lookin

Rather petty but...I just noticed today that they misspelled Vicky McGehee's name in the credits in the album booklet for "California". Vicky McGhee.
