Janet J. had some U.S. shows during the tracking week, hence the bump for Unbreakable. If the Nielsen numbers are close to HITS, that would be a 21% or so gain (HITS prior-week info for the album is messed up, as is the percentage trend for the new chart- oy). Will be interesting to see its performance the next couple of months, with the tour on hiatus.
I had never even heard of Chris Stapleton until this past week.

Could he do another 100k this week? I have a feeling he could if people can find his album to buy the physical. Which might be tough considering its 6 months old and wasn't a big seller to start

145k + 96k = Chris Stapleton's new pure album sales total of 241,000He'll get a Gold album out of this. Maybe Platinum?! If i remember correctly, RIAA counts SPS in certifying albums right?

The RIAA already certifies digital singles. They are not going to count digital singles sales towards album certs. They may include streaming someday.

It is so annoying when people judge artists for discounting albums. Like, I can't. LOL
First, it isn't even their decision. Second, it is SMART. Not stupid. And ANY artist/label can choose to do so. Also, the album was only discounted digitally (as far as I know). I know in many places, like Target, it was still "full price."
Plus, much of the money is music is from TOURING. Labels are willing to "Give away" CDs if it means converting fans. They give a 5.99/6.99/etc. CD to a fan and that fan could fall in love and purchase a $75 concert ticket, a $35 shirt, etc.

Just to note, the totals for Stapleton's "Traveller" were adjusted to 150,470 in sales and 176,427 in Sales/Tracks/Streams. I didn't notice any other major revisions.

Touring is where the artist makes most of their money, not the label. The label discounts because they can recoup their expenditure through volume for an album, particular one with no hit singles.
