Week #6: Dated 12/6/15
#1 Song: Look who is on time this week! This time Terri Clark retains the top spot, and in the process "I Cheated On You" becomes the second multi-week #1 hit on this chart. Blake Shelton finally gets around Carrie Underwood, reaching a new peak in the penultimate position on the chart. Chris Young also goes recurrent, allowing the rest of the top 10 to have excellent gains. Ronnie Dunn tastes the top 10 for the first time.
Meanwhile, Dierks passes Kelsea Ballerini as "Riser" begins to truly rise. The order of the rest of the top 20 remains largely the same, but Don Henley and Martina continue to fall, this week actually losing their bullet for the first time. Meanwhile, George Strait jumps them as well as the stagnant Lee Brice, making a grand entrance into the top 20 as he leaps from 22 to 19. Randy Houser is welcomed to the left-hand side of the chart for the first time as he breaks into the top 25, while Thomas Rhett and Lauren Alaina are patiently waiting for their turn. Jon Pardi makes a huge move from 32 to 29, leaping Eric Church and the free-falling Billy Currington in the process.
The rest of the top 40 sees wonderful gains, thanks to the departures of Parmalee and Cole Swindell in that region of the chart. Joe Nichols carves his way deeply into the top 40, while Toby Keith, Jo Dee Messina, and Carrie Underwood's tunes all enter the top 40 for the first time right behind him. Martina makes a huge leap as well, moving up 5 spots to get stuck on the verge of making the top 40. In the process, she passes both Keith Urban and Little Big Town. Jason Aldean finally sees a similarly positive gain, jumping from 50 to 45 and matching his original peak. Justin Moore passes Rascal Flatts, while Chris Stapleton, Florida Georgia Line, and Hank Williams, Jr. all make their debuts at the bottom of the chart. Falling Off:
Chris Young - “I’m Coming Over” - Peak: 1 (1 week) - Weeks On: 5 Cole Swindell - “Let Me See Ya Girl” - Peak: 27 - Weeks On: 5 Parmalee - “Already Callin’ You Mine” - Peak: 36 - Weeks On: 5 New Entries:
Chris Stapleton - "Nobody To Blame" - Debut: 48 Florida Georgia Line - "Confession" - Debut: 49 Hank Williams, Jr. ft. Eric Church - "Are You Ready For The Country" - Debut: 50 .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz . , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , jhomes87 , 43dudleyvillas , Kanenrá:ke , tim , stonemc06 , raylatch98 , @dawson , M&TSwiftie , defying gravity , Sean , Daryl the Beryl , zack97 , Andy , Massikur2 , LBTrocks , Tylerjamesnerd , sbp17 , Marv, Zazie

Epic #1! :) Pretty cool that Ronnie Dunn goes Top 10! :) Love all the rock guys stuck in the 40's and showing some upward movement. Great new entries from Chris & Hank and the better than average FGL effort! :)

Week #7: Dated 12/13/15#1 Song: Finally, some serious top 10 movement!!!! Terri Clark finally relinquishes the top spot after 2 weeks at #1. However, with surprising finesse, Reba leaps her, Blake Shelton, and Dan + Shay to claim the #1! Dan + Shay also pass Blake, but Blake does not gain enough to stay ahead of Terri, so he falls all the way to #4 and loses his bullet. Sorry Blake, no #1 this time! Cam and Brothers Osborne both earn a new peak position, while Alan Jackson leaps Jana Kramer to hit #7. Ronnie Dunn proves he's still got some gas in his tank, while Ashley Monroe tastes the top 10 for the first time. The rest of the top 20 sees fairly steady gains, as everything is helped by the departure of Carrie's "Smoke Break" ahead of them. However, Cassadee Pope passes LoCash as they begin to potentially slow down. Don and Martina start to truly plummet, allowing Lee Brice, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, and Chase Bryant to fly past. Randy Houser officially reaches the top 25, while Lauren, Erica/Jamie, and Jon all prepare to make their moves once the chart clears a little more. Maddie & Tae fly past Brad Paisley with a surge of momentum from their music video, but Sara Evans manages to stay ahead (because she is flippin' awesome, duh). Between Lindsay Ell at 33 and Brantley Gilbert at 42, every song manages to gain 2 positions. Then Justin Moore surges past Jason Aldean. But Aldean himself manages to gain a position, achieving a new peak at 44. Hank/Eric decide they want to rise on my chart quicker than they will in reality on the Billboard chart, so they pass Florida Georgia Line. Meanwhile, Kip Moore makes his debut, along with Chris Young/Cassadee Pope's new single! Falling Off:
Carrie Underwood - “Smoke Break” - Peak: 1 (2 weeks) - Weeks On: 6 Billy Currington - “Drinking Town With A Football Problem” - Peak: 22 - Weeks On: 6 New Entries:Kip Moore - "Running For You" - Debut: 49 Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope - "Think Of You" - Debut: 50 .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , jhomes87 , 43dudleyvillas , Kanenrá:ke , tim , stonemc06 , raylatch98 , @dawson , M&TSwiftie , defying gravity , Sean , Daryl the Beryl , zack97 , Andy , Massikur2 , LBTrocks , sbp17 , castleoblivion26

Thank goodness that Reba leaped Dan + Shay! 8D Great track from Reba that came as quickly as it disappeared. Unfortunately, it didn't do much on my chart as, although I actually like it, it never really clicked. Too short chart life span and too little exposure, I guess. My boys are all doing good albeit they're mostly clustered in the middle field of the right hand side of your chart! :) Keep up the good work!

Super happy to see Reba on top this week! Also love that Ashley Monroe cracked the Top 10, the gains for Cassadee Pope, Maddie & Tae, Sara Evans, and Carrie Underwood, and the debut of Chris Young's new single!

I was out of town the last several days, but I am home now and I just finished this! I think we'll count it as on time ;) Week #8: Dated 12/20/15
#1 Song:
For the second week in a row, Reba holds on to the #1 spot. She continues to post positive gains as well, because it is just such a huge hit that getting to #1 does not necessarily mean it is done right away... Meanwhile, Terri Clark falls to #5, Dan + Shay stumble from #2 to #6, and Blake Shelton almost plummets clear out of the top 10. This clears out some space for Cam and Brothers Osborne to finally make huge gains into the top 5. It seems like they have been stuck in the lower portions of the top 10 for such a long time! Alan Jackson also begins to lose spins, but still manages to pull ahead of Dan + Shay as well as Terri, landing at #4, which will be his peak position if he continues to fall.
Unfortunately, all the movement in the top 10 did nothing whatsoever to help the songs in the teens, so Dierks, Kelsea, Rainey, Cassadee, LoCash, Lee, Thomas, Sam, Tim, and Chase all stay put. The Band Perry begin to slip, however, allowing Zac Brown Band and George Strait to surge ahead. Martina McBride and Don Henley amicably part ways, after "That Old Flame" throws in the towel and concludes a decently successful run to #16. Their departure allows all of the songs below them to gain 1 position on the chart, with the exception of Eric Church (who gets leaped by Sara Evans and Isaac Slade in their eager hastiness to taste the left-hand side of the chart.)
Craig Morgan and Joe Nichols are also forced to stay put as Toby Keith's "Beautiful Stranger" awakens and decides it does not want to just sit there making minimal gains. A little bit lower, Jo Dee Messina begins to fall. "Say Goodbye To Superman" is an excellent song, but unfortunately the plug had to be pulled because it just wasn't doing much of anything. Hopefully her next album will encounter more success! Everyone else in the top 50 continues to gain steadily. They may not have gained much this week, but look for everybody to make some serious progress in the near future as so many songs prepare to fall out of the top 10! Finally, at the very bottom of the chart, Maren Morris makes her debut on my chart with her very first single attempt.
Falling Off:
Don Henley ft. Martina McBride - “That Old Flame” - Peak: 16 - Weeks On: 7 New Entries:
Maren Morris - "My Church" - Debut: 50 .indulgecountry, sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , jhomes87, Kanenrá:ke , tim , stonemc06 , raylatch98 , @dawson , M&TSwiftie , defying gravity , Sean , Daryl the Beryl, zack97, Andy , Massikur2, sbp17 , castleoblivion26

Thrilled to see Reba holding it down in the #1 spot again! Also love the continued gains for Cam, Jana, and Ashley in the Top 10. I hope Kelsea, Rainey, and Cassadee can all make it in there in the next few weeks, too! <33 Nice to also see the debut for Maren Morris this week. :)

Week #9: Dated 12/27/15 #1 Song:
Reba hangs on and simply refuses to let go! She occupies the #1 spot for the 3rd consecutive week, becoming the 3rd multi-week #1 this chart has ever seen, following "Smoke Break" and "I Cheated On You" which each held #1 for 2 weeks. As a result, Cam and Brothers Osborne are forced to sit and wait. Jana Kramer, Ronnie Dunn, and Ashley Monroe, however, get a HUGE boost out of the plummeting Alan Jackson and Dan + Shay, as well as the departing Terri Clark! Dierks Bentley and Kelsea Ballerini both enter the top 10 for the first time, while Rainey Qualley and Cassadee Pope both hungrily eye the vacancies that appear to be guaranteed for next week.
LoCash finally succumbs to the pressure and begins to fall, but still manages to get a new peak of #13. The Band Perry also continue to fall, but the rest of the top 20 continue to move along very nicely. Lauren Alaina sees a particularly pleasant gain, as she leaps the stagnant Chase Bryant and Randy Houser as well as the sinking "Live Forever" in her jump from #25 to #20. Erica Nicole and Jamie O'Neal also see a nice leap from #26 to #23, while Jon Pardi also enters the top 25 for the first time. Sara Evans, Eric Church, and Maddie & Tae all must be thrilled to see how many songs will be leaving below them in the next few weeks, because that will give them a huge surge of momentum as the prepare for their inevitable runs through the top 20!
The rest of the top 40 continues to chug along without issue; the only minor skirmish occurred when Carrie Underwood leaped Joe Nichols in her eagerness to climb quickly. Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore, and Jason Aldean all enter the top 40 for the first time. Jo Dee Messina continues to tailspin, but Florida Georgia Line have a particularly successful week as they fly past Hank Williams, Jr. and Eric Church. Chris Young and Cassadee Pope also have a good week, as they pass Kip Moore (who did not have a bad week at all himself!). Maren Morris surges upward, as Luke Bryan/Karen Fairchild and Granger Smith both sneak onto the end of the chart. (Those songs are both on the cusp of the top 10 on the Billboard Airplay chart. I decided I simply could not ignore them any longer...)
Falling Off:
Terri Clark - “I Cheated On You” - Peak: 1 (2 weeks) - Weeks On: 8 Blake Shelton - “Gonna” - Peak: 2 - Weeks On: 8 New Entries:
Luke Bryan ft. Karen Fairchild - "Home Alone Tonight" - Debut: 49 Granger Smith - "Backroad Song" - Debut: 50 .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , jhomes87 , Kanenrá:ke , tim , stonemc06 , raylatch98 , @dawson , M&TSwiftie , defying gravity , Sean , Daryl the Beryl , zack97 , Andy , Massikur2 , sbp17 , castleoblivion26 , Marv , Zazie , LBTrocks , Tylerjamesnerd , 14887fan , carrieidol1 , carriekins , bksouthga, onebuffalo

Alright folks, that concludes my final chart from 2015!! Now, I know a lot of people do year-end lists, so I am going to do the same. The only problem is, I only started doing a personal chart at the beginning of November... So I therefore can only rank the last 1/6 of 2015 Since I started doing this, I have been ranking the songs every week. The #1 gets 50 points, #2=49, etc., all the way down to #50 which gets 1 point. So, without further ado, here is the ranking of the songs on my personal chart for the last 1/6 of 2015!!!!! 69 songs were charted in 2015. They are: Ranking) Title - Artist (# points)69) Backroad Song - Granger Smith (1) 68) Home Alone Tonight - Luke Bryan ft. Karen Fairchild (2) 67) 21 - Hunter Hayes (2) 66) My Church - Maren Morris (4) 65) Break Up With Him - Old Dominion (7) 64) White Lightning - The Cadillac Three (8) 63) Think Of You - Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope (8) 62) Running For You - Kip Moore (9) 61) Strip It Down - Luke Bryan (12) 60) Confession - Florida Georgia Line (16) 59) Are You Ready For The Country - Hank Williams, Jr. ft. Eric Church (16) 58) Nobody To Blame - Chris Stapleton (22) 57) I Like The Sound Of That - Rascal Flatts (32) 56) You Look Like I Need A Drink - Justin Moore (37) 55) Stone Cold Sober - Brantley Gilbert (46) 54) Gonna Know We Were Here - Jason Aldean (52) 53) Pain Killer - Little Big Town (54) 52) Anything Goes - Florida Georgia Line (61) 51) Over The Rainbow - Martina McBride (63) 50) Heartbeat - Carrie Underwood (65) 49) Break On Me - Keith Urban (65) 48) Already Callin' You Mine - Parmalee (65) 47) Say Goodbye To Superman - Jo Dee Messina (71) 46) Tomorrow Tonight - Craig Campbell (72) 45) Buy Me A Boat - Chris Janson (73) 44) Save It For A Rainy Day - Kenny Chesney (87) 43) Fly - Maddie & Tae (92) 42) Freaks Like Me - Joe Nichols (94) 41) When I'm Gone - Craig Morgan (101) 40) Beautiful Stranger - Toby Keith (102) 39) Run Away With You - Big & Rich (106) 38) Let Me See Ya Girl - Cole Swindell (106) 37) By The Way - Lindsay Ell (128) 36) Shut Up And Fish - Maddie & Tae (132) 35) Better Than You Left Me - Mickey Guyton (139) 34) Can't Stop Loving You - Sara Evans ft. Isaac Slade (140) 33) Mr. Misunderstood - Eric Church (143) 32) Drinkin' Town With A Football Problem - Billy Currington (151) 31) Country Nation - Brad Paisley (153) 30) Head Over Boots - Jon Pardi (163) 29) Like I Do - Erica Nicole ft. Jamie O'Neal (180) 28) Next Boyfriend - Lauren Alaina (195) 27) Die A Happy Man - Thomas Rhett (207) 26) We Went - Randy Houser (218) 25) That Old Flame - Don Henley ft. Martina McBride (220) 24) Top Of The World - Tim McGraw (230) 23) Little Bit Of You - Chase Bryant (233) 22) Break Up In A Small Town - Sam Hunt (241) 21) I'm Comin' Over - Chris Young (242) 20) Cold Beer Conversation - George Strait (252) 19) That Don't Sound Like You - Lee Brice (270) 18) Beautiful Drug - Zac Brown Band (271) 17) Live Forever - The Band Perry (281) 16) Smoke Break - Carrie Underwood (293) 15) I Am Invincible - Cassadee Pope (299) 14) I Love This Life - LoCash (310) 13) Me And Johnny Cash - Rainey Qualley (315) 12) Riser - Dierks Bentley (334) 11) Dibs - Kelsea Ballerini (337) 10) The Blade - Ashley Monroe (354) 9) Ain't No Trucks In Texas - Ronnie Dunn (364) 8) Gonna - Blake Shelton (373) 7) I Got The Boy - Jana Kramer (376) 6) Jim And Jack And Hank - Alan Jackson (377) 5) I Cheated On You - Terri Clark (377) 4) Stay A Little Longer - Brothers Osborne (394) 3) Burning House - Cam (404) 2) Nothin' Like You - Dan + Shay (411) 1) Until They Don't Love You - Reba McEntire (417)
This list does not tell us much, because the chart is so young. Songs that have peaked well so far have not had much time to build points. Which results in songs that have had room to grow (like "Live Forever") looking like they are almost as big of hits as songs that peaked really well and then fell off (like "Smoke Break"). That is a problem that I think will normalize itself as we enter 2016, when we start to see songs get full chart runs rather than climbing from the position that I chose to start them at when I first began the chart. So for now, this is more of a just-for-fun list :) Congratulations to Reba for snagging yet ANOTHER #1 though with "Until They Don't Love You"! It will be interesting to see where that song places next to the #1 for 2016, which will undoubtedly get to have a full chart run... UTDLY started in the top 10 when I made the chart...

In 2015 I also began posting in bigfan101 's weekly Pulse country chart thread, with my top 15 favorite current songs every week. And surprise surprise, I have also been ranking those every week based on the number of points I gave them! I have been doing that since September, so it is still not reflective of the entirety of 2015, but it is still a good indication of the final 1/4 of the year :) Since I have MY VERY OWN THREAD, I am going to post those final rankings right here The ranking for these songs was calculated the exact same way as the points on my personal chart were, although this is out of a scale of 15 rather than 50. 38 songs have charted on my favorites chart in Q4 of 2015: Ranking) Title - Artist (# points)
38) Die A Happy Man - Thomas Rhett (1) 37) Live Forever - The Band Perry (2) 36) Buy Me A Boat - Chris Janson (3) 35) The Blade - Ashley Monroe (4) 34) Drinking Town With A Football Problem - Billy Currington (4) 33) Break Up In A Small Town - Sam Hunt (4) 32) Next Boyfriend - Lauren Alaina (7) 31) Jim And Jack And Hank - Alan Jackson (7) 30) Crash And Burn - Thomas Rhett (8) 29) When I'm Gone - Craig Morgan (9) 28) Save It For A Rainy Day - Kenny Chesney (10) 27) Tomorrow Tonight - Craig Campbell (11) 26) Think Of You - Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope (12) 25) Mr. Misunderstood - Eric Church (12) 24) I Got The Boy - Jana Kramer (12) 23) Smokin' And Drinkin' - Miranda Lambert ft. Little Big Town (17) 22) I Love This Life - LoCash (18) 21) Stay A Little Longer - Brothers Osborne (22) 20) Ain't No Trucks In Texas - Ronnie Dunn (26) 19) That Don't Sound Like You - Lee Brice (28) 18) Fly - Maddie & Tae (34) 17) By The Way - Lindsay Ell (35) 16) Me And Johnny Cash - Rainey Qualley (39) 15) Beautiful Stranger - Toby Keith (39) 14) That Old Flame - Don Henley ft. Martina McBride (55) 13) Head Over Boots - Jon Pardi (57) 12) Heartbeat - Carrie Underwood (72) 11) Dibs - Kelsea Ballerini (88) 10) Like I Do - Erica Nicole ft. Jamie O'Neal (104) 9) Smoke Break - Carrie Underwood (106) 8) Riser - Dierks Bentley (108) 7) I'm Comin' Over - Chris Young (113) 6) Shut Up And Fish - Maddie & Tae (119) 5) Cold Beer Conversation - George Strait (126) 4) Burning House - Cam (128) 3) Until They Don't Love You - Reba McEntire (133) 2) I Am Invincible - Cassadee Pope (166) 1) Beautiful Drug - Zac Brown Band (181) Despite Reba holding the #1 position on my favorites chart for the entire time it was on the radio, Cassadee and Zac Brown Band still managed to beat it! So there's the proof that being #1 all the time does not necessarily mean you are going to finish first. A little life lesson for everyone Lol!

Wot at Reba holding off the competition from Cam! Obviously pleased to see that both bg & Jason made the Top 40! :) Amazing that Ronnie Dunn goes Top 5 (well deserved) and Dierks Top 10 Luke: My initial liking of the song has pretty much worn off... Don't know yet if it goes on to make my Top 50. Love/hate relationship. I'd say yayish! ;) Granger: It's been on my list for over 20 weeks now and it's starting to get a bit stale. But I like his music (in general) so good on him! Love to check your chart! :)

Yasssssss @ Reba's 3-week stay at #1! Also thrilled to see Jana make the Top 5 and Kelsea make the Top 10 this week. Glad to see that Rainey and Cassadee look poised to get in there very soon as well! And I love that Lauren Alaina had such a great week and jumped all the way into the Top 20. <3

Week #10: Dated 1/3/16 #1 Song:
This week a very rare thing occurred at the top of the charts. Reba, despite spending 3 weeks at #1, did not lose her bullet, yet she fell to #2 as Cam surged ahead of her. Nice job, Cam! Brothers Osborne meanwhile are held to #3 and Jana to #4. Ashley Monroe climbs up a spot into the top 5, as Ronnie Dunn stumbles out of her way. Dierks and Kelsea both prove to be risers, while Rainey Qualley and Cassadee Pope finally enter the top 10 thanks to the recurrency of Alan Jackson and Dan+Shay!
LoCash continue to plummet, allowing Zac Brown Band, George Strait, Lee Brice, Sam Hunt, and Tim McGraw to fly past. Erica Nichole and Jamie O'Neal are also breathing down LoCash's neck as they make a meteoric rise through the top 25. They flew past Thomas, Lauren, and Chase, moving from 23 to 17. Thomas and Lauren both begin to slow down a little bit, while Jon Pardi sees nice gains. Randy Houser finally makes a little progress too. Meanwhile, the top 25 welcomes for the first time Sara Evans, Eric Church, and Maddie & Tae.
The rest of the top 40 continues to climb strongly, with the exception of Little Big Town and Brantley Gilbert jumping over Keith Urban, forcing "Break On Me" to gain only 1 chart position. Rascal Flatts pass Jason Aldean, who still gains some ground that he should be happy with, and Chris/Cassadee pass Hank, Jr./Eric in their climb from #46 to #41.
Brooke Eden, Jennifer Nettles, Cole Swindell, and David Nail all debut on the chart this week, sandwiching Luke/Karen and Granger in the low 40s.
Falling Off:
Alan Jackson - “Jim And Jack And Hank” - Peak: 4 - Weeks On: 9 Dan + Shay - “Nothin’ Like You” - Peak: 2 - Weeks On: 9 The Band Perry - “Live Forever” - Peak: 16 - Weeks On: 9 Jo Dee Messina - “Say Goodbye To Superman” - Peak: 37 - Weeks On: 8 New Entries:
Brooke Eden - "Daddy's Money" - Debut: 45 Jennifer Nettles - "Unlove You" - Debut: 46 Cole Swindell - "You Should Be Here" - Debut: 49 David Nail - "Night's On Fire" - Debut: 50 In addition to my weekly chart, I have decided for 2016 I am going to start listing my weekly top 20 favorite songs that are currently on country radio! This will also correspond with the list that I post in the Weekly Pulse Country Chart thread. Yay Ashley Monroe is in the Top 5. The Blade is so beautiful it's a song despite no radio AirPlay I think it'll be remembered in the long run for being so beautiful.

Lovely seeing Cam at #1! Love all the girl power in the Top 10: great group of songs by the ladies. Also love that big jump for "Like I Do," seeing Carrie crack the Top 30, and the debuts of Jennifer, Brooke, and David.

Week #11: Dated 1/10/16
#1 song: Guess what!! I figured out a way to get the chart image to be bigger!!!! Hopefully it isn't too big now... This week Brothers Osborne finally make a surge to the top. Cam begins to plummet, all the way down to #5. Reba finally begins to fall as well, yet "Until They Don't Love You" STILL manages to stay ahead of "Burning House". Jana Kramer manages to sidestep around them, arriving at #3 just in time to start falling herself. The biggest jump, however, comes from Ashley Monroe who surges past them all to claim the #2 spot! Lower in the top 10, Ronnie Dunn continues to fall, but has not left the top 10 yet. Minimal changes occur in the top 20, other than Thomas Rhett beginning to lose momentum, and Lauren Alaina, Chase Bryant, Jon Pardi, and Sara Evans all surging around him. Brad Paisley enters the top 25 for the first time. Toby Keith passes Lindsay Ell and is eager to hopefully join the top 25 next week. Everything else in the top 45 is stuck in a log jam, but all get to move up one spot thanks to the tragic yet ironic death of LoCash's "I Love This Life". Jason Aldean begins to plummet about the same time his song finishes up on the real charts, because I need to make room for upcoming exciting releases in the next few weeks of 2016! Granger Smith finally breaks free from Luke Bryan and Karen Fairchild, leaping well ahead of them. Dustin Lynch meanwhile makes his debut with "Mind Reader", which is finally beginning to grow on me. Only one song fell off this week, but it appears we are about to see some MAJOR shake-ups in upcoming weeks once all the plummeting songs in the top 10 disappear! Should make for some exciting chart watching! Falling Off:
LoCash - “I Love This Life” - Peak: 13 - Weeks On: 10 New Entries:
Dustin Lynch - "Mind Reader" - Debut: 50 Top 20 Favorites:
1) Heartbeat - Carrie Underwood 2) Shut Up And Fish - Maddie & Tae 3) Beautiful Stranger - Toby Keith 4) Beautiful Drug - Zac Brown Band 5) I Am Invincible - Cassadee Pope 6) Head Over Boots - Jon Pardi 7) Think Of You - Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope 8) Freaks Like Me - Joe Nichols 9) You Look Like I Need A Drink - Justin Moore 10) Break Up In A Small Town - Sam Hunt 11) I Love This Life - LoCash 12) Unlove You - Jennifer Nettles 13) Power Of Positive Drinkin’ - Chris Janson 14) Running For You - Kip Moore 15) Stay A Little Longer - Brothers Osborne 16) Dibs - Kelsea Ballerini 17) When I’m Gone - Craig Morgan 18) By The Way - Lindsay Ell 19) Country Nation - Brad Paisley 20) Mr. Misunderstood - Eric Church .indulgecountry , sabre14 , someguy , Zeebz , gardyfan , bigfan101 , trebor , jhomes87 , Kanenrá:ke , tim , stonemc06 , raylatch98 , M&TSwiftie , defying gravity , Sean , zack97 , Andy , Massikur2 , sbp17 , castleoblivion26 , Marv , Zazie , LBTrocks , Tylerjamesnerd , 14887fan , carrieidol1 , bksouthga Lol Daryl the Beryl , you liked this before I even finished creating it! I had just uploaded a test to see how well the larger image worked. So you get a round of applause :) Thank you for your consistent perusing!

Your Top 10 is absolutely wonderful! Sad to see that Jana won't make it to the top, but it looks like Ashley Monroe is at least next in line, so that's comforting. Lovely to see Sara Evans cracking the Top 20, too. Rise my queen, rise!!

Lovely to see Sara Evans cracking the Top 20, too. Rise my queen, rise!! Yeah, unfortunately Jana's song just has not held up that well for me. I have been hearing it in heavy rotation around here since like the end of summer. So while I do enjoy the song, I am ready to kick it to the curb I haven't included it in my list of weekly favorites since like October!

Week #12: Dated 1/17/16
#1 song:
Ashley Monroe replaces Brothers Osborne at the top this week with her scintillating tune "The Blade". Dierks Bentley and Kelsea Ballerini both finally ascend to the top 3 as well. Brothers Osborne fall to the #4 slot, while Reba continues to hold somewhat steady by only losing one position. Rainey and Cassadee both move deeper into the top 10, while Cam and Jana appear to be on their way out sooner rather than later. It looks like there is a typo in the chart; Zac Brown Band move up from 11 to 9. The chart appears to say that they fell from 6 to 9.
George Strait, Lee Brice, and Sam Hunt all appear to be positioned very well to enter the top 10 with all the songs that will disappear in the next week or two. Tim McGraw continues to make small gains, while Erica Nicole and Jamie O'Neal appear to be held back by some chart clog in the teens. They climb only 1 spot, which is uncharacteristic of their song so far. Meanwhile, Sara Evans roars into the top 20, leaping from 20 to 18. She and Eric Church both leap past the stumbling Chase Bryant. Chase and Randy Houser both begin to fall, but Randy still manages to gain 1 position for a new peak of 21. (Honestly, I am so sick of both of those songs, and I don't want them to peak any higher, so I have been holding them both back for weeks, unsure of whether I should yank them away before they have actually peaked on real country radio... I decided this week that it is finally time.) Maddie & Tae, Brad Paisley, and Toby Keith all make excellent advances towards the top 20, while Thomas Rhett makes excellent progress in the opposite direction (I'm sick of his song too).
The right-hand side of the chart sees much less action, since many of the songs about to go recurrent are still higher than them so they haven't been helped yet. Basically every song moves up a position. Martina McBride enters the top 30 for the first time with "Over The Rainbow". Luke Bryan and Karen Fairchild fall off the chart (same deal as Chase/Randy, although I only put up with this song for 3 weeks...), allowing Cole Swindell to advance 2 spaces and David Nail to advance 3. Chris Janson makes his debut ahead of Dustin Lynch, and Jo Dee Messina and Trace Adkins both bring up the rear with their new songs.
Falling Off:
Ronnie Dunn - “Ain’t No Trucks In Texas” - Peak: 5 - Weeks On: 11 Jason Aldean - “Gonna Know We Were Here” - Peak: 38 - Weeks On: 11 Luke Bryan ft. Karen Fairchild - “Home Alone Tonight” - Peak: 47 - Weeks On: 3 New Entries:
Chris Janson - "Power Of Positive Drinkin'" - Debut: 47 Jo Dee Messina - "Will You Love Me" - Debut: 49 Trace Adkins - "Jesus And Jones" - Debut: 50 Top 20 Favorites:
1) Shut Up And Fish - Maddie & Tae 2) Heartbeat - Carrie Underwood 3) Beautiful Drug - Zac Brown Band 4) Jesus And Jones - Trace Adkins 5) Beautiful Stranger - Toby Keith 6) Think Of You - Chris Young ft. Cassadee Pope 7) By The Way - Lindsay Ell 8) Daddy’s Money - Brooke Eden 9) Head Over Boots - Jon Pardi 10) Running For You - Kip Moore 11) Unlove You - Jennifer Nettles 12) My Church - Maren Morris 13) Freaks Like Me - Joe Nichols 14) When I’m Gone - Craig Morgan 15) Power Of Positive Drinkin’ - Chris Janson 16) Are You Ready For The Country - Hank Williams, Jr. ft. Eric Church 17) I Love This Life - LoCash 18) Dibs - Kelsea Ballerini 19) Mr. Misunderstood - Eric Church 20) Nobody To Blame - Chris Stapleton .indulgecountry, Daryl the Beryl, sabre14, someguy, Zeebz, gardyfan, bigfan101, trebor, jhomes87, Kanenrá:ke, tim, stonemc06, raylatch98, M&TSwiftie, defying gravity, Sean, zack97, Andy, Massikur2, sbp17, castleoblivion26, 14887fan, carrieidol1, bksouthga, tryexp, fearlessarrow, @jakelmmrs44

"The Blade" is one of the best Country songs in the past five years, single or album track. Glad to see it hit #1 on your own chart. :)

The Blade is a masterpiece that'll be remembered years from now for just how pure it is.
Oh and also love seeing By The Way and Next Boyfriend making progress and I hope country radio takes notice

Just lovely to see "The Blade" at #1! Love that song (and Ashley, period) so, so much!! Also super excited about that big jump for Kelsea into the Top 3! Love that Sara Evans is continuing to climb nicely in the Top 20, and I'm excited to see Maddie & Tae probably headed there next week, too. Love the debuts this week a lot, too, especially seeing the return of the great Jo Dee Messina! <333
