Has anyone heard this follow-up to last year's "Gia"?
z103.5 has just started putting into higher rotation and it sounds great. It's very upbeat and feel good, and has a Greek/middle-eastern vibe with the instruments.
The hook is what everything builds up to and it sounds great.

GREEK. Not Middle Eastern! >:(
Opa opa, opa opa! I like it, but Antique's version was far superior.
I've tried to become a big fan of Despina's, but her music just isn't as good as her contemporaries, like Sabrina (Greek Britney! Caliente!)

I knew it was Greek, lol but the strings also have a middle eastern type of feel/vibe. Speaking of Greek chicks, I'm watching Jimmy Kimmel right now and Maria Menounos is on! Now SHE'S hot!

I think the version played on z103 is alot better than the version I found. It's quick and up beat and a great song. It's moving up the z103 charts pretty fast.

Is Jennifer Aniston Greek? I didn't know that, lol...well come to think of it her dad John Aniston does kind of have a Greek look about him. I heard Opa Opa played at the club the other night too, it's got a great beat. coolcat, I found a flawless version of Opa Opa a few weeks ago and downloaded it. It's exactly the same as the version z103 plays and it is CD quality. That's the thing about dance music, it's a bit more of a hassle to find the exact version of the song you are so accustomed to hearing and enjoy. Which is why I rarely download dance songs as it is. So the RIAA should be thankful for that!

just heard this for the first time, it's not bad... I'd like it a little more if it were a little less House-y.
They could really play their cards right and try to promote this during the Olympics and kind of create a Greek fever type thing, but I don't see them doing that.

Yes, Jennifer Aniston is Greek.
Is Despina performing at the Olympics? She's been doing a lot of promo throughout Europe, I think. She seems like a given Greek performer, if any will be performing.

This is a great song! Despina Vandi's full album, Gia is really good too. The Armand Van Helden Mix is excellent.
I like this song, but not as much as I like "Gia". The first time I heard "Gia", I ran out and bought it because I could not wait until I could hear it again.
Her new single "Come Along Now" in the Gia Mix is really good. The beats are taken from her previous hit "Gia." It's quite good. Ultra Records included that on their latest mix CD.
