that recurrent rule works. not too harsh or drastic, but ensures songs that have been charting for a year can't just hang out for 2 years based solely on passive streaming.

I fucking hate the new recurrent rule. The Hot 100 is fine as it was.
The only good thing about it is the fact it leaves a few more spots open - perhaps "First" can finally debut?

Don't like the recurrent rule or any recurrent rule for that matter. If an old song is one of the most popular songs in the country, restricting it from an popularity chart because of age always seems wrong to me.
