Released in 2012 for her soon-to-be ex-husband she wanted to tribute her man due to his illness at the time. This song was universally panned by critics and fans (included by me) but now it's one of my favorite songs. Two remix versions "Vintage Throwback Remix" and the "Pulse Club Remix" were also released. The song never charted on the Hot 100 but peaked at #15 Bubbling Under.

Lord, Mariah got SUCH a collective dragging for this. I don't think I've witnessed another single get so much backlash—NO ONE liked it! I think it was because it came during a momentous stage in her career; she hadn't released new music -second Christmas album aside- in 3 years at that point, she had given birth the previous year so many people were expecting to see if that would influence her sound/image at all (probably the way ROL signified a shift for Madonna), her voice had gotten significantly stronger due to pregnancy ...and she came back with a generic sounding JD production and worst of all (which she got the most flak for) she was barely featured on her own single. Remixes I love the song.

I liked it because it was an upgrade for a Jermaine Dupri production tbh. I occasionally still listen, but yeah this is in the last positions as far as her singles go.

I'd probably rank this ahead of only "Boy (I Need You)" as far as her worst singles. This never should have even left the cutting room floor, let alone been considered as a "comeback" single.

The hate for this was so weirdly overblown. The song is a C at best but she has released much weaker material than this, in my opinion. The Vintage remix is great.

I liked it even though she was the hook girl on her own song. It's a bop.

I took me a while to like this song, but now I do. The remixes are better though. Although I really like the video.

I used to love this so much when it came out and I was so confused because it was flopping. Poor 2012-me :(

Better than Infinity, but that's probably it.

This was terrible. Thank God the "Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse" album sounded nothing like it.

Everything about this song was tired. The production, her vocals, that she was barely featured, the rap verses didn't even pop. I still don't know what she was thinking.
The Throwback Vintage mix is so much better, showed what the song could have been.

It's funny how all of her Me...I Am Mariah The Elusive Chanteuse album is stronger than this. I don't know what they were thinking trying to lead with this. Thank goodness it got scrapped from the album.

bad for Mariah standards , still prefer this to what some finger themselves over to on Pulse however. That distinction needed to be made.

Just watched the video, which I haven't watched since it came out. What a nightmare. I hate the production and I especially dislike what was done to Mariah's vocals on the chorus. A complete and total mess. She looks good in the video though.

Pass. They tried to go for street and ended up with bootleg. There's a few singles she had worse than this (Infinity, Don't Stop), but this is towards the bottom of the barrel.

The only likable thing about this are the "BUY TRIUMPHANT" memes it produced.

Mariah Carey the prophet. She foreshadowing the eventual demise of her marriage when she said this song was for Nick. She couldn't even be bothered with a better effort lol.
My least played Mariah song neck and neck with Infinity but infinity is more meh boring that hot ass garbage.

The “get ‘em” hook is decent but that’s about it..
