Hmm, I was wondering. Did anyone see her at the Summer Rush? Can someone link me to a picture on the summerrush.com website of Aluna singing live at the summer rush? I want to see her face too, and this picture doesn't give a good view of it.

Being the nice, but lazy, person I am I found this link. www.summerrush.com/rush2004.htmlI personally couldn't find a picture of Aluna because I couldn't get a good view of her from that picture, but you might have better luck than me. ;)

Being abroad has its difficulties with the news happenings in the US, so I was taken aback I heard about the whole webcam "Numa Numa Dance" to the O-Zone version of this tune floating around the 'net. If you haven't seen it, you should.
At any rate, my friends at home are all in love with this "new" song, while it had pretty much ran its course for me by the end of last fall. Of course, it still gets a lot of club attention over here.
Mediabase is reporting that KTU spinned it 3 times in the past week (O-Zone - "Mah Ah Hi (Dragostea Din Tei)"), having never spinned it like z1035 did when it actually was popular.
Novelty/people's requests or the start of something? I'd prolly vote for the former, but nevertheless, I'm always hoping for some decent dance to make it in the NYC market. O-Zone did release "The English Remixes" of the track in November.
Thoughts?

I heard the O-Zone version at the mall while I was in Florida recently, I believe.
It was my first time hearing it....I like Haiducii's better

There's also an *English* version of this song (done by Dan Balan featuring Lucas Prata, titled, "Mai-Ai-Hee"), and KNHC 89.5 FM in Seattle has been playing it, in addition to the O-Zone version. In fact, on their top requested songs of 2004, the O-Zone version was the#1 requested song at the station for 2004, while the English version came in as the 11th most requested song of 2004: www.c895fm.com/2001/top50_04.htm

I have to say, I prefer the O Zone version of this song after downloading the MP3s of both versions. But, is it called Mai A Hee or Dragostea Din Tei?
I was exposed to this song plenty of times in August of 2004. I was vacationing in Cape Cod, and between 107.1 WFHN and 96.3 WRZE and Open House Party, this song was playing about twice per night.
