^Canadian Hot 100. It is a Billboard Hot 100. I check out tracks that peaked top 10 on Bubbling Under, and cracked the CH100. "First" is one of those. (Billboard started compiling the CH100 in 2007).

The Idol coronation song is not even top 10 in bubbling under! But curiously, even with popularity going down, idol winners are able to hit airplay charts and that's way more than The voice contestants are able to do. It's not that surprising given The voice seems more interested in the coaches than in the contestants but i think Melanie Martinez is the first the voice contestant to reach pop top 50, which frankly is not very encouraging to new contestants |
