That's the 34th, if I'm counting correctly. Babs moved to 2 by default, as she's unbulleted. But, kudos for her, too.
WIll Hung Up be a multi-week No. 1? Hmmm...

OK, what is that Robyn song? Love Me? Is that brand new, and from the same Robyn who did Show Me Love and Do You Know, etc.?

No kidding! And what about Howard Jones (#35)... is that "What Is Love" Howard Jones from the 80's? Thanks for the chart by the way ... and I welcome the Queen back to her throne! ;)

"What Is Love" was Haddaway, no?

"What Is Love" was Haddaway, no? Howard Jones had a song called "What Is Love?" too. He actually had a a few big UK hits in 83-86 ( "WIL" was a #2 smash) but he disappear from the charts after that. I doubt it but it would be very interesting if this is the same guy ... a comeback after 20 years!? I searched and found the cover of What Is Love' 7" single ...

Are any mixes of "SIO" officially going to clubs? I can't believe it even got to #23.

I don't think The Ends Of The Earth has the power to take over Madonna. Don't Cha you by the pussycat Dolls rose up that chart really fast as well, and was #1 for 3 or 4 weeks. I think Hung Up is going to be around for awhile.

I think Hung Up is going to be around for awhile. Well, "Hung Up" could stay at number one for a week or two. Since it climbed so quickly, it's possible that it may gain and continue to peak for awhile. Madonna needs a multiple-week number one again

i have asked this question before but nobody answer so i will ask it again. Why is the Billboard DANCE/Club Play more important than the Billboard Dance Airplay Chart? Shouldnt the airplay chart be more important. Like for example Motorcycles "As the Rush Comes" was the #1 song in the DANCE AIRPLAY CHART for the year end charts of 04' but it only peaked around #40 at its peak in the DANCE/CLUB PLAY whats up w/that??

Well, here's my take on some of it. There's far more clubs and DJs reporting to DJ than dance radio stations in the U.S. Of course, both are still national. A song could be in high rotation on most of the radio stations and have only high rotation in some clubs so there might be that. The opposite of this can also happened. That could possibly explain why the Motorcycle song was number one on the radio chart and not number one on the club chart. And certain songs might only be huge in some select markets (maybe the ones with the radio stations) but not even making their prescence known in the others.

thanx 4 explaining. I was just wondering because AS THE RUSH COMES was the most played song of 04' on the year end charts for the Dance Radio Airplay but it peaked so low in the Club/Play and i though it was the supposely the biggest dance song of 04'. Thnx 4 explaining. Do u think it there were more dance stations like lets say 15 or 20 in the USA then they would become more important chart? Hung Up may not even go #1 on the Dance Airplay chart.

There isn't a dance station in every single market and there will never be so many dance stations. Personally, I think the chart is just as important. It measures what is getting played on the radio, and the club one measures what is getting played in clubs. I guess more importance is placed on the Club chart because it represents a lot more of the U.S. The Dance radio airplay chart is a recent addition to the Billboard charts. The club chart has been around for quite awhile. The names have changed a few times, but it has been around for awhile.

Hung Up may not even go #1 on the Dance Airplay chart. "Hung Up" is currently spending its second week at #1 on the Dance Radio Airplay chart. :)

I didn't type that up. I get that from someone at another forum. Occasionally, there are errors. We'll get it straigtened out.

It's truthful, but sad. I was hoping to watch "Power of Love" & "Because of You" climb the Dance charts.
