This will begin the uptick of the recurrent songs airplay, and the current songs are going to go down, or not gain that much at all.

Interesting that I Heart is not using the official Mediabase chart this year. At least three songs on the Mediabase top 50 have already been played prior to the I Heart top 50. Also overall, the chart seems a little fresher than the Mediabase chart as some of the newer songs showed up within the bottom half of the I Heart chart. Wow it's the same chart that most I Heart stations are using, at least it's nice to have a top 100 chart again this year, and a little bit fresher than the official charts.

After listening to this countdown, I realized that Focus got played as an extra because she was a co host in the countdown at one point. She was number 97, so I don't know why they played the same song again.

Great to see "Hello" by Adele finish at #15 for the year. Again, as I said earlier it looks like they weighed some of the songs from later in the year more so they could finish higher. This not only makes for a fresher chart, but it is similar to how the year end charts were compiled in the 80s and early 90s prior to the PPM era. Nice to see instead of waiting for songs that peaked in November and December to make the 2016 chart.

Interesting list, seems more fresh than last years. I personally couldve done without Latch, rude, and am I wrong they feel a little too old like early 2014
Surprised not one showing from Tori Kelly
Does this account for the top 20 iheartradio weekly countdown only? I don't recall adam lambert's ghost town ever charting on the top 20 countdown, however, one republic's i lived did yet is not here.
My honorable mentions, some which I think should have made the countdown: These in particular I felt I heard on z100 quite a bit this year. (It seems like nearly all of the on the verge acts didn't make the year end) (Hailee was prob the only one)
Charlie Puth - Marvin Gaye Jason Derulo - Cheyenne Conrad Sewell - Hold Me Up (Even Firestone with Kygo was a good one) Tori Kelly - Nobody Love Tori Kelly - Shoulda Been Us Prince Royce - Stuck On A Feeling One Republic - I Lived Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband James Newton Howard - The Hanging Tree Sam Smith - Like I Can Britney Spears / Iggy Azalea - Pretty Girls Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand Flo Rida / Robin Thicke - I Don't Like It, I Love It A Great Big World - Hold Each Other Who Is Fancy - Goodbye Audien / Lady A - Something Better DNCE cake by the ocean and Fetty Wap 679 - i feel like theyve been getting a lot of play to make the countdown, but may be eligible for 2016...guess we'll see

Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband This song just barely charted on the Daly Download year ender. Hot AC version that is. At #58.
I tried to record most of the show off WIHT. I'll try again on New yrs. WIHT is going to re-air the show NYs Eve @1pm.
