Whoa! Look at all the audience it took to make it to #5 Dance Radio. 0.093 ??? That's...wow. I'm disturbed. Does it say how many weeks it's been on? I've been long done with this song but I'm interested in knowing it's debut week.

It's been on the club play chart for four weeks and the dance radio chart for thirteen weeks.

LOL, this song is so old to me now. I think I need to stop following British dance so all these songs won't be so dated when they cross over here.

By the time "Lola's Theme" crossed over, I was pretty much done with it and I didn't even re-chart it. I still loved it though, but I didn't expect anything amazing over here like in Britain.

As this moves up to #3 Club Play, it surpasses the peak of "Lola's Theme".

I think it peaked at #3 or #4.

It moves up to #2 Club Play. So it looks like this is basically their bigger hit in the US. That seems kind of weird to me, but it's not like it bothers me. lol

At U.S. dance radio, "Lola's Theme" is still by far the bigger of Shapeshifters' two hits. It spent multiple weeks at #1 (3 if I recall correctly), while "Back to Basics" is currently stuck at a #5 peak.

I've gotten into this song again, which explains its chart - mine - re-entry. It wouldn't bother me either if this peaks higher and stays than "Lola's Theme". I'd be a little disappointed with the fact that I think "Lola's Theme" is better, but hey, whatever gets the Shapeshifters more publicity, spins, and recognition is really fin with me!
