Ciara was poised to be her "comeback". Things were looking up with "Body Party". But then it quickly went left with the label again not further promoting/putting out the proper singles and what was going to be her crossover Pop smash with "Overdose" was ruined by Future's inability to use condoms.

Oh...according to the liner notes, Ciara and Macklemore are friends, which I guess explains why he is on the album. I actually like Macklemore and even I admit that his placement on the album was a bit..perplexing. How generous of Ciara to put her friends on her album. Same goes for Kelly.

Iām surprised Ciara isnāt bigger. While I LOVE the second album and third, I think single choices screwed her throughout her career. Whil I love Promise, it derided her Pop career. And then I feel like Urban got wushu washy with her after a huge song like Promise, Ride and Body Party, even Never Ever(which I adore). Iām still bitter that Tell Me What Your Name Is was never released.
Iām lovinā Thinking Bout You. Iām late to Ciara these days. I didnāt like Level Up but now Iām liking it. The verses remind me of Lucy Pearlās Dance Tonight for some reason. Watching her on the BBMAs with the simple Thinking Bout You made me remember how awesome she is. Thereās no one that has come out since her that can dance like that. Except for Chris Brown and their BET performance is one I will never forget.
