Both of these amazing songs from both these amazing female artists share similar messages in regards to a different gender. Womanizer being about a guy who flirts and gets involved with other chicks and Maneater being about a girl using dudes due to her charm . So which one of these classic gems of 2000s pop music do you prefer Britney's 2008 smash hit Womanizer Or Nelly's 2006 smash hit/Tim and Danja produced track Maneater? Happy voting
On a side note: I just remembered how cool these videos are. Womanizer has several differently dressed but still hot af Britneys While Maneater had well Nelly losing her dog and then entering a dance party at a Vampire Lair. You don't find music videos like this anymore that much, so original and somewhat illogical.

Always thought 'Maneater' was overrated. 'Womanizer' went on to inspire hyper-repetative pre-chorus/chorus lyricism even today. See 'Out of the Woods'. Not that Britney's impact actually answers the question, I just want to be clear.
Anyway, yeah, 'Womanizer' is better. It's also aged far better.

Maneater's production is better. That's all that matters because neither of these are very good songs.

I like Womanizer but the verses are far too reductive (i.e. Happy Together cover). Maneater is still a bop with great production which feels timeless. It was already 80s inspired anyway. So my vote goes to Nelly's. The fact that it was never released as a single in the US adds to its mystique :)

So my vote goes to Nelly's. The fact that it was never released as a single in the US adds to its mystique :) It was well on it's way to at least a Top 5 Hot 100 hit on it's own accord by peaking at #16 with no promotion. Such a smash hit and the studio stories of it's creation were so intriguing to me. It was one of the first track they all collectively cut together and Danja played the drums so hard that they actually caught on fire. He produced that track solely but Tim went in and added his vocal affects and that's why he was credited on the song. It also put Nelly in the record books for some time by having simultaneous #1s in both the UK and US with two different songs. Loose is one of the best mainstream comeback eras. If you will check my receipts you will see that I am well within the return window. Do NOT! You can keep them Tar-jay receipt heaux.

"Maneater" is my favorite Nelly Furtado song, easily, but I am a huge Britney Spears fan and "Womanizer" is my second-favorite Britney song, so Britney takes it.

"Maneater".
Actually I noticed that it's difficult for a song to beat "Promiscuous", "Say It Right" or "Maneater" in these polls.

I probably enjoyed "Maneater" more at its peak, but "Womanizer" has aged far better.
