This is out in some territories, and God is this awful. It had a promising intro, and then it started to go down. It was like they tried to create a funky pop rock song like "She Keeps Me Up" by: Nickelback, but this fails in every way.
It really reminds me of Marianas Trench's "Pop 101", where they tell you how to create a pop song, and it's done in an obviously parodic way. I wish this was a parody of what they thought was a pop song...

I am not feeling this one. It's just really underwhelming. I feel like this was a b side or outtake and they just tacked it on to the album as new material.

I can't believe they are still trying.

I can't believe they are still trying. I was a big fan of Chris when he was on Idol and I loved his group's first 3 albums. Since then, I found their albums to be anywhere from just subpar to severely underwhelming with just a handful of songs that were really good. I feel like they have lost their way and they just don't know where they are going. I also wonder if they just are not getting to work with better producers and collaborators because of the label. This is supposedly their final album for their current deal so maybe they might go to another label, but it seems likely that they will go the indie route.
