Who are your favorite singers that put out solid dance tracks? I have to give it up to Kate Ryan from Belgium. Shes got such nice melodies and her dance tracks are too repititious. They have a nice Kylie Minogue dance feel but incorporate more techno like Alice Deejay. Check out her website and let me know what you think.... www.kateryan.be , who are your favorite DANCE singers?

The best singer on dance tracks with the best melody is without doubt "Justine Suissa" The woman has a voice second to its fair to say none. If you want proof just listen to one of two songs. 1) Is an awesome melodic trance track called "satellite" which was released by her production group "oceanlab". 2) Is a great mixed track by the DJ legend that is Armin Van Buuren called "Sky falls down" Don't believe me....proof is in the voice

Before I even clicked the link to the post, I had her in mind. She is an excellent singer. I loved her on "Satellite" with Oceanlab, and on "Burned With Desire." I heard both of these songs back on December 31 for the first time. I was blown away . I also love her song with Chicane called "Autumn Tactics". The Thrillseekers Mix is the preferred one here. I also just love Loleatta Holloway. She hasn't done that many new tracks, but whenever she does, it's great. Ms. Holloway is mostly known for being sampled by Black Box and Marky Mark, but her disco tracks were where it's at. And I love any track that features the voice of Jan Johnston. Whether it be the solo tracks or collaborations. I loved the song "Flesh [DJ Tiesto Mix]". That's one of their finest tracks, and one of Tiesto's best remixes. The breakdown to the crescendo is an epic of its own. And I love Sinead O'Connor. This is the same one who did a track with Prince a decade ago. Her solo dance tracks and collaborations with Conjure one are great. And of course, Sarah McLachlan. Her voice is perfect for the kind of music she normally does, as well as the dance mixes. She and dance music were made for each other.

This thread introduces Kate Ryan like those of us who visit this forum regularly don't know her.Β There was a similar thread from another new member not long ago, I think earlier this month - any relation?
I love her voice and some of her biggest hits, but do we need another thread which essentially overpromotes her?

This thread was originally written back in January and it just resurfaced at the top of the list today after someone replied. But you're right. There were two other threads about Kate Ryan during the last month written by two different members. In fact, all three posts were written within 10 days of each other. "Clear Blue Water" is yet another great Oceanlab track. Justine is in my top five. I also have to hand it to Kristine W. She constantly bangs out number one singles and has a great voice (like "Wonder Of It All"). I also am a big fan of Jess from Motorcycle.
