Big hit around the world, very much in the vein of the Eric Prydz "Call On Me". This song takes a sample from an old Hall and Oates song, loops it, and adds a dance beat. The result is irresistably catchy. It's also got a sexy video. Instead of a gym, this time it's a strip poker game: 5 girls and 1 guy... and the guy is cheating.

I found this by listening to the chart show on BBC Radio 1 and totally fell in love with it. I agree, it's similar to "Call on Me" in concept, but is a lot less bass-heavy and more dancy (is that a word? hehe) to me.

This "formula" of sorts will work only for so long. I like this record too, but how many more of these will come along? Eric Prydz has a followup to "Call On Me". It's mentioned in another thread.

I just got this off a DJ's blog. I like it. Here's the video from Ministry Of Sound. The link I posted is long: hope the video works.

There's also a Canadian cover of this version by Dave Armstrong.

There's also a Canadian cover of this version by Dave Armstrong. I heard a rumor about that. And I heard a rumor that he covered Irene Cara's "What A Feeling" also. That's like 6th one if that is true.

Is there a place to watch the video online? Ministryofsound.com has it. Yeah, it's hot, even if it's cheesy. I love how it takes the girl 2 minutes to figure out the guy is wearing a wire, even though she's sitting right next to him and there's this huge thing in his ear. :) Also, I have never seen a game of strip poker where the bras and panties come off before the pants and shirts. I do like the dancing-on-table element though... have to remember that if I ever happen to be playing that game with 5 hot women.
