I'm hoping this song will be good. I know Scott Borchetta saw something in him so I hope he has some great music.

This song ain't bad. It's very interesting. It has a blues kind of guitar riff. Glad Scott Borchetta took a chance with this guy. His voice is very unique. What's really great with Brett is that he can dig down deep if he needs to on songs such as "You Ain't Here to Kiss Me".

Nothing groundbreaking here, but on second listen the song is catchy and nice enough melodically. Definitely wouldn't be a station changer for me. I like it. Might continue to grow on me. Sounds like a good choice for radio too.
Not crazy about the EP though... it's pretty generic. Nothing really stood out to me one way or the other. I guess I'd describe it as forgettable.

Brett's still got plenty of radio visits to get done, so I'm not surprised we have to wait until April for the add date.

It appears Republic Nashville has moved up the add date for "Sleep Without You" to March 21st, as All Access has Brett's song impacting on that day. It would make sense since radio seems eager to play this song (especially considering its a debut single) as "Sleep Without You" has already seen 8 early adds and is already in the Billboard top 60.

I can't really pinpoint what it is about this song, but I can't get enough of it. It's definitely one of my favorites right now.

It's definitely one of my favorites right now. I've heard this a few times on The Highway and while I don't think it's a great song, it definitely is a radio hit. It's catchy. It's short. The production is in radio's wheelhouse and Brett's vocals are different and stand out. He's also got a good label supporting him.

Alright, counting votes right now. But y'all need to listen to his EP. Sleep Without You is a huge grower on me but is by far the weakest song on the EP.
Best debut EP since Mickey Guyton....and I don't throw that around lightly. The melodies, catchy lyrics and unique voice. Calling next big format star with this guy. Brochetta has got another good one.

"Sleep Without You" got another 4 adds this week, giving it 16 total stations so far. The official impact date is April 11th. I'm going to agree with cws3030 and say this one is awarded the next iHeartMedia "On The Verge" selection.

I've been listening to this song a lot lately and I can't get it out of my head. This song is so dang catchy and the lyrics are very relevant to my life. I think this song is an absolute smash waiting to happen.

I really like the song. But it REALLY reminds me of Waterloo Revival.

Interesting. The Cumulus block has collectively started spinning "Sleep Without You" this week. Already has well over 20 stations spinning the song over the past seven days, including both Minneapolis stations.
Don't know if there was some per-arranged deal in place but this is easily one of the best reactions for a debut single I've ever seen.

The song is legitimately SO catchy and his sound is not familiar to anyone at country radio, which is helping him stand out. I expect this to be a huge hit.

Not that I'm aware of. If they do, it was never (or hasn't yet at least) been publicly announced. I know "I Like The Sound Of That" got per-arranged airplay last September but I don't know how often that happens. The numbers don't lie though -- the Cumulus block should be appearing on the add board this upcoming Monday.
