^I do think she would’ve been better putting an entire album out because her recent singles (especially the NON features) haven’t resonated with the charts and for whatever reason, she’s the type of artist now that would probably slay the surprise release strategy.
I was also thinking she would play the “Wheres Nicki” thing a bit longer to maximize hype since she really hasn’t been gone at all to the GP but I’m excited to hear Chun Li. The title sounds like something from her mixtape days and that cover is hot!

'Half Back', not 'Half Black.' That was the other name floating before Chun Li prior to the announcement though. I've also seen mentions on forums that it's a reject. Either way, if it's gone from the project, that's fine with me. It's too much in the NF lane. |

Love Half Back, and shes talking about EVE. Yeah this is more believable imo. There was some weirdness around Motorsport for sure (which I honestly think had more to do with Nicki v. Migos/TAKEOFF than Cardi) but she’s publicly voiced support and actually got some of her own fans together who tried to start sh*t so I wouldn’t be surprised if she and her team just pulled back on it because they knew how people would think/react. And it’s not like she’s going to comment publicly on Eve so there would be no way for her to clarify/clear the air. |

She’s been unfollowing Barbz on twitter who shade Cardi in her mentions since her return.
I don’t think the song is about Eve either. Ppl are blowing the stripper bar out of proportion. It was just that. A metaphor/punchline. The song’s lyrics detail everything that happened in Paris circa No Frauds. The only person getting shots clearly thrown her way is Remy. This is an old track that is neither the two new singles.
