I am genuinely annoyed. How is this bitch 4 albums into her career and doesn´t have control or a staff that is worth a shit? Like, seriously bitch...how do you blow an SNL surprise, cancel an Ellen appearance, AND go back on a promise that you confirmed a day before and tweeted about 5 hours before you decided to change it...all in 1 week. Like, seriously? Get it the fuck together.

I’m actually not mad at the new date. June is a bloated month and this album campaign has been a mess so far. She said we are getting a lot of stuff still on June 15th and a couple days before including a new single launch. The documentary before the album and award shows that she wants to do. I’m thinking that’s BET.

Hopefully they’ve learned from their mess and everything goes smoothly from here on out. They should’ve been learned by now but I digress.

I can't think of another act that has delayed their shit again and again, while actually having each project be successful. It's an organizational hump that she and her team just can't leave behind to this point.

I don't understand why she makes an announcement for an actual announcement that ends up being pushed back only for it to be underwhelming after it's formally announced. Why does she do that? If she could somehow be off the internet for a couple of months one would at least expect her to zip it until everything is set is stone.

Huge mistake pushing the album back. If it's finished, just give up the music. People don't have the patience in this day and age to wait months for a rollout. (I feel similarly about this with acts like Ariana & Troye).

I personally feel like it's the label instead of Nicki herself who insists on pushing things back. Not only waiting for the singles to take off but also avoiding clashes with other releases of her label mates.

Not surprised one bit, sadly. I've come to expect this from her. It's probably for the better though with all the releases in June. We've officially been confirmed that Chun Li is the first single now, too.

But bitch THIS is the problem!! Stop setting f**king release dates!! You obviously don't live up to half of them. Nicki is on the level of popularity where she can surprise-drop s**t and it would still be massive. Stop making promises you can't keep and, as a result, pissing off your fans...just surprise drop everything and snatch our wigs!!!!! For example, I don't believe for a SECOND that the album cover will be released on June 11.

Yeah but she shouldn't be announcing any specific dates. She just doesn't have the track record to keep her word, and this is coming from a Nicki stan!! Sigh. Honestly she was in the PERFECT position to do a surprise release from the getgo and it would’ve been ideal for her who I think is less singles/Hot 100 charts driven these days than album sales.

Her team is a mess but it’s also her fault. She has a close relationship to the barbz and gets seriously carried away/excited and announces/says stuff prematurely even before it’s fully signed off on. Her intention is in the right place but the execution just makes everything appear unorganized. And it’s fruatrating that like others have pointed out, it’s plagued literally ALL of her eras. I feel like “Roman Reloaded” was probably the least messiest of them all.

I'm not gonnna give her the full blame, Rebuplic/YM/CM def has something to do with this. They probably didn't expect Chun to blow up so quickly , and pushed back to give more promo than what they gave initally.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re planning to drop a new single soon though. I fully expected them not to lead the album solely with “Chun Li” either way.

Her 2nd SNL performance suddenly makes a whole lot of sense now.

It definitely seems like label decisions are behind all of this- stuff “out of [her] control”
