First listen! I'm excited, even though I've never been a big fan.

1. Ganja Burns (8.5/10)
I love the production of this song. It's radio friendly and pleasing. I would've preferred a shorter track cause they unleashed all of the song's powers at the very beginning and it stayed at the same place for a while. Still, a great opener.
2. Majesty (8.5/10)
Labrinth sounds great on this. I don't like Eminem at all but he went off. I don't really remember hearing Nicki lol, without a second listen, I would say this is a Labrinth feat. Eminem track.
3. Barbie Dreams (5.5/10)
Sorry. It might be because I'm a pop bitch. I don't hear what y'all hear on this track. I don't like the riff and I don't like the melody. Okay, she tells everything on her lyrics but I mostly pay attention to the recording at first and I'm not impressed, it drags. Plus, the chorus/breakdown sounds like it's sung by Kim Kardashian. The last minute is killer and that verse reminds me of "Monster". That's why it got more than 5.
4. Rich Sex (7.5/10)
That's another first listen for me (even though it was released like one or two months ago). It's a banger. What is Lil Wayne doin' though? Having a stroke?
5. Hard White (7.5/10)
We love an interracial sex anthem (I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics lol). I like the song. Follows the same pattern with "Rich Sex". This song should have been placed after "Bed".
6. Bed (8/10)
The weakest Ariana x Nicki collab ever imo. I still enjoy the song. But it could've been much stronger as a single had it been less "chill".
7. Thought I Knew You (8/10)
BASS. BASS. BASS. That's a freakin' bop. It goes hard. Why the "I, I, ahhhh"s though
8. Run & Hide (7/10)
I loved the intro of the song and I like the rest of it. Why not have a killer hook though and make it huge? The vibes remind me of Rihanna's "Yeah, I Said It".
9. Chun Swae (6.5/10)
I went in thinking "Man, I'm just gonna listen to some parts, I'm too bored for a 6 minute track". Well, I actually played the entire song and liked it. She delivered. And the hook isn't bad either. That ending though...
10. Chun-Li (8/10)
This song still goes hard. Not something I would go out of my way to listen to (well, until now) but something I always enjoy.
11. LLC (6.5/10)
Every time, I click "play" and there's another urban anthem. She really did that.
12. Good Form (8.5/10)
That's it. That's f-ckin it. Give me more. I said, give me f-cking more.
13. Nip Tuck (8/10)
This one is more R&B than Hip Hop which is a good thing. It is the closest thing we have to an entirely sung song so far. It could've been as good as "Drive" by Miley Cyrus but where are dem high notes? We know you got 'em Nicki.
14. 2 Lit 2 Late Interlude
This would've been a bop. An improved version of "Bed".

NO! She SINGS on this! My d--- works after all. My wig doesn't though. It flew to Trinidad. I know this is way too Becky-ish for you all but I am living!

The production is great as usual. The song doesn't take of though.
17. Miami (6/10)
Nah. Not bad but boring. I love her accent though.
18. Coco Chanel (5/10)
Too aggressive for me. I pooped my pants.

I hope the song fades out in the end. It would totally work. Pleaaaaaase. Is it going there? Yes! It happened

Verdict: I'm pleasantly surprised. This needs more listens cause I remember like 4 of these tracks and the rest of them are... similar? IDK. There are some really good songs here. I do think that The Pinkprint was more diverse and it explored more genres.
Favorite songs: The Becky ballad and any song I rated with 8 or more.

EDIT: I changed my rating of "Majesty" from 7.5 to 8.5. It's weaker than "Ganja Burns" but I don't wanna give it a 8.3 lol.

Interesting. But, as an artist, Tracy Chapman has a right to license her songs to whomever she deems worthy. Period. Same goes for Nicki, if someone wanted to use one of her songs. Anyway, I guess I will have to wait til next week to find out what songs are included on the Target Exclusive version. It's annoying that their cover doesn't have Nicki on it but I'm more interested in extra content than a picture.

I edited my initial thoughts after giving it a few more listens. She has enough highlights to make this a solid album, and I realize I no longer am here for her singing as of this album lol.

TPP is still her best and most cohesive imo, and I think I maybe like Pink Friday a bit more too (the highs were higher) but that was also very solid so that’s not downcasting this.

QUEEN is taking over social media though and I knew there’d be that one track to go viral and take off organically which is clearly Barbie Dreams. I’m excited for Spotify tomorrow to see where everything lands.
