I am actually really excited for this and have a sneaking suspicion it will overtake The Pinkprint as my favorite of hers. I MIGHT listen to one song (though it will probably just be Chun-Li because it's been a while) until next Friday when I go to Target.

I haven’t given the time to listen all the Queen tracks and I won’t either. Album started off good but I don’t vibe to the whole “Queen” thing. Yes Nicki is better than Cardi B but for how much longer? I feel like the Spotify streaming numbers won’t be spectular like the Travis Scott and Drake numbers were but we will see. I feel like Sweetener will make a huge impact on Spotify, as it probably won’t be as big on Apple Music tho as AM has been and still is mostly an urban-based, but she can probably do 2.5 million on each of her tracks in the US on release day.

What does the latter part of your post have to do with your original point. No one is talking about the future, she IS the Queen right now. It's facts. And she's capitalizing off of it and being, rightfully, proud of her never-before-seen success. She has EARNED it. Listen to her discography from the start of her career to now, her own songs and features. The amount of hits she has is unreal. And to your "bragging" point, she's literally always talked about it so I don't really know how this album is any different. |

I don’t know why ppl have such an issue with Nicki calling herself the queen when she undisputedly is but don’t bat an eyelash to the 100+ male rappers who have referred to themselves as the king.

This album was def not worth the wait. There's waaaaaaay too much filler on this. It's surprisingly BORING.
There is entirely too much singing from her on this album. Sis, you're the queen of rap; not the queen of R&B. Leave the singing to the professionals. She could have cut all of the ballads and that awful collabo with Foxy's off-beat ass
I will give her props on the fact that I don't think I heard her make ONE "bitches is my sons" line the entire album (correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't catch one.)
I'm interested in seeing how she will keep this era alive. None of the songs on here sound like hit singles.
BARBIE DREAMS (Kinda ironic that the most interesting and faved song on the album was originally done by her archenemy and her mentor.)
