Her career management is just so horrible it’s such a disservice to her lol. Why is she performing at all these festivals and that album never came out?….
Everything just executed badly as usual. Still taking 5~ years between albums in the streaming era as a current rapper is mind boggling.
2021 I think she should’ve released Beam Me Up Scotty & a new mixtape. Beam Me Up in its original form, then in Summer 2021 a mixtape that would’ve contained Seeing Green, Fractions, etc. Some of the standalone this year (We Go Up, DWHAP) would’ve fit more on a said mixtape too instead of being teased for months individually to just flop after a week.
The new mixtape would’ve been image restoration and giving critics/fans a true full Hip-Hop project they’ve always desired.
Then by Summer 2022 she should’ve had a new studio album ready. I also think she would honestly benefit more from just dropping full length projects and then having a song or two take off on release and navigating from there ala Certified Lover Boy. She’s not good with choosing standalone singles and all these “comeback” singles this decade getting the hype and effort they do just to tank shortly after debuting is a waste of time.
