So annoying that the PF2 CD won't arrive til next wk from Amazon, while the vinyl arrives Friday and won't have a digital download, most likely. I plan to pick up the CD from Target Friday, since I have to go there anyway.

The physical copies only have 10 tracks, with only 5 of them being new songs 💀. It’s all she had to give Republic at the time to meet the deadline.

Praying the digital version is longer tonight. She was saying a few days ago about adding a new song everyday to the album on release week…Istg she better just drop it all at once because what a disaster. She had 5 years and 3 pushbacks and still couldn’t finish on time 😭.

ETA. You just know it won’t be on streaming at midnight either 😂💀.

Now Amazon has confirmed it shipped but won't be delivered until Sunday.

As for the TL, I'll believe it when I see it cuz they been fighting over this on Twitter since last night and I'm exhausted.

Seems like people are receiving vinyl already, which is normal typically artists who have physicals on release date have early shipments for some.

THe best album ever created and 3 out of 10 songs are Super Freaky Girl, Ruby Red, and Last Time I Saw You is just...special. TEN songs?! This is unreal. If she wasn't ready to give her long-suffering fans a FULL new physical album, with the old songs tacked on as Target exclusives or something, she would have been better off waiting til next year. I feel like she is going to get skewered by the Barbs for this.

I do think these 10 songs were the ones done first and she submitted that for physical release to have something available on release day. I'm just wondering if the newer songs she's been working on will be available at midnight tonight or she will wait until later in the day/week.

Travis Scott recently had his vinyl/CDs available on release day with 18 of the songs on the standard album and then Uzi/Travis' collab from Uzi's album in Meltdown's place because Drake's vocals didn't come in until after the pressings were done. Plus some of those songs were unfinished and had different vocals than what was released on the digital version. He later re-released the physicals with the finalized songs along with Meltdown. I think Nicki could do that with this too, she's already dropping the "early/unfinished" version of the album and then later on she could re-release the physical versions with all of the new tracks.

yeah, I think it's 7 + SFG, RRDS and LTISY. Idk, this is so weird, 2 really old songs, 10 songs overall and the album release on 12/09. Yes, she'll probably have big sales, but streaming is also important and she won't have great numbers with only seven ten songs. Not to mention it's December and Xmas as the main focus. Can't wait to hear the album tho.
