here's my ranking on my first listen - i did not enjoy this album as much as his last 2 (Bakersfield & Guitar Slinger) - this one is not as country but still its not bad


1. "A Sad One Comin' On (A Song For George Jones)" - What a amazing tribute and country to the bone
2. "Down To My Last Bad Habit" - Don't know why i like this song so much but i do
3. "Take Me Down (w/ Little Big Town) - LBT give great harmonies here and this song just works

I got this album in the mail today. I've never purchased a Vince Gill album before. I've only heard singles on the radio and streamed random tracks here and there. I enjoyed, "Take Me Down" and "Down To My Last Bad Habit" so much when they were released, I decided to pre-order it. Kind of wishing I would've picked up the Target edition. But, never having purchased a Vince album before, I think the standard version will suffice this time around. Listening to the album for the second time around now. So, I don't really want to rank them yet. All that aside, this is a stellar album. It's a bit on the ballad heavy side, but that's kind of what I would expect from Vince (judging by previous singles released). I do wish Cam was more prominent on "I'll Be Waiting For You."

I haven't brought myself to listen to it yet. I was not particularly impressed by his latter releases. Ever since his hits dried up, so was my interest in his music. So curious to hear what people who bought the CD think of it.
