I thought "How Would U Feel" was okay. I can't stand this one though.

I loved "How Would U Feel." Why can't Morales make mixes that sound like that?

This one's good. I'm digging the Full Intention mix. The Kaskade mix is good too for a more mellow take. Not as good as "How Would U Feel" though.

I like the Kaskade Mix. Energy 92.7 has started throwing that one in the mix. It's a bit laid back, but it sounds a little better. The Full Intention one is good too.

Which version is this? I'm guessing it's the original mix, but I wanted to make sure. I really love Kaskade's stuff... he's not for everyone though. If you don't care for house in any form (especially deep house or lounge), then you're not gonna like his stuff. To me, his productions are golden. I'd never even heard of the guy till I stumbled across his remix of "The Way You Move" by Outkast on the internet... now I'm addicted to him. LOL With David Morales, I used to be a huge fan of his remixes... everything he's done here in the past few years has been hit or miss for me. Like everything else, dance music evolves, so producers evolve with it... I think he's trying to gain a new "sound" and quite hasn't found where he wants (or needs) to be yet.

DAVID MORALES WITH TAMRA KEENAN Here I Am Producer(s): David Morales Writer(s): D. Morales, A. Shantzis, T. Keenan Publisher(s): various Genre: DANCE/ELECTRONIC Label/Catalog Number: DMI/Ultra BLT 026 (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: March 26, 2005
With dance radio and numerous club DJs still playing David Morales' previous No. 1 hit, "How Would U Feel," along comes single No. 2 from the artist's sophomore album, "2 Worlds Collide." Like its predecessor, "Here I Am" is signature Morales: straight-up, sophisticated soulful house. And whereas the previous hit single featured the soulful diva stylings of Lea-Lorién, this one shines the light on Tamra Keenan, whose delivery is sweet and somewhat innocent. Of course, this fits in perfectly with the song's story line. Remixers Kaskade and Full Intention toughen up the track ever so slightly, with the former adding acoustic guitar and the latter injecting a heavy bottom end. Expect this to be one of the songs of the 20th annual Winter Music Conference, which takes place March 22-26 in Miami.—MP

Just heard the Full Intention remix and I like that version a lot. His album is actually pretty good - I bought it and enjoyed a lot of the songs on there. ;)

This is at number 2 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart for the week of 5/21. With a bullet, it should give Morales two consecutive #1's on the chart.

One of my favorites the last 2-3 months. It is one of those songs that sound deferent but so familiar! This is at number 2 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart for the week of 5/21. With a bullet, it should give Morales two consecutive #1's on the chart.

The Kaskade Radio Edit is really great. Yup I completely agree. I slept on this track when I initially listened to the album back in 2004 ... but now its a great gainer on my list.
