This is the first single from her third album. As far as I am aware, she's no longer with Robbins.

When was her last album? Like 1999? She released albums in 1998 and 2000. She was still releasing singles from her last album up through 2003.

With Party 93.1 kaput, I don't think I'll get a chance to hear it on radio. I've always loved Rockell's singles!!!

She released albums in 1998 and 2000. She was still releasing singles from her last album up through 2003. Cool. I really liked "In A Dream," and while I didn't like "When I'm Gone" at the time it takes me back when I hear it now, which is cool. Refresh my memory though... what order did her singles come out in? I know "In My Dreams" was first, but after that I can't figure it out.

Thanks.
Did KTU play "I Fell In Love" when it first came out? I don't remember hearing it til my junior year, which would have been after "In A Dream."

"I Fell In Love" used to get played a lot on then Wild 107 and Wild 94.9 in San Francisco. It was about one to two years before "In A Dream" came out. The funny thing was that this other local singer named Josette did a cover of Rockell's "In A Dream". It got more play than the Rockell version. I heard that one on a mix CD and realized it wasn't Josette doing it. I eventually picked up the full album What Are You Lookin' At. It had some pretty good songs on it.
I also liked the songs "What You Did 2 Me" and "The Dance" from here recent album.
I can't wait to hear this new one!

all her maxi singles (at least from her first album) are on iTunes. i went on a downloading spree a couple days ago :)
the stuff I heard from her second album wasn't as good, but I loved her cover of Garth Brooks' "The Dance". interested in hearing this.

I'm gonna look for this one, if it's anything like "In a Dream" or "When I'm Gone", even "Tears", it'll be great. In A Dream was one of my favourite songs from 2002/2003, it's an amazing track.

"In A Dream" is from 1997. Your right, I'm thinking 2002 because that's the year that the z103.5 Hitmix! came out and "In A Dream" was featured on that CD.

The order of her releases was: I Fell In Love In A Dream Can't We Try When I'm Gone What U Did 2 Me Tears L.O.V.E. I can only remember Tears as her most recent single, I don't remember L.O.V.E. at all. She also had another song called "The Dance" I think... might have come out after "What U Did 2 Me". That was released maybe 2001 or 2002. I'm thinking that was on Robbins as well.

This was supposed to be released to radio at the end of April/beginning of May, but it looks like the promo CD was just shipped out mid-May, according to Rockell's manager (http://members3.boardhost.com/rockell/msg/2788.html) Yes, Rockell has left Robbins and is releasing her own material. BTW, my huband recently interviewed Rockell that's been published on our internet radio station's website. To check it out, visit the website at: www.angelfire.com/music5/aeschtunesthen click on "Archive," then click on "Interviews." When you reach that section, click on Rockell's name.

Energy 92.7 played this song last night as part of their First Spin segment. I thought it was an okay track in the mix they played. I would have liked to hear one of those trancey-freestyle remixes of this song.

Is this the same "L.O.V.E." that was on a Christina Millian album AND Terri Walker ("Whoopsie Daisy")? Seems to be a popular title as of late.

It defended successfully for one night. Then it lost the next night. It was up against Tony Moran & Deborah Cooper's "Live You All Over" the first time, and it won. Then the second time, it lost to the new Tina Cousins track "Wonderful Life." I just heard your remix. It was definitely not the one Energy played. That remix totally rocks!!! This is the one that they should have played! Is it available on a 12" or CD single? I could see this being a floorfiller when I DJ. And this has become an instant favorite.

thanks for all the info shanti .. i appreciate it .. what u can do is email me, and i'll send ya a copy of the cd single .. the summer mix (the one i did) .. is starting to warm up to alot of mix shows across the country .. Energy wouldnt play the version i did cuz it was too 'freestyle' sounding i believe .. but all the other stations are choosing the summer mix as the one being played on radio ... my email is randygalaxy@yahoo.com and i'll be glad to send ya the stuff ... thanks again for the info, that kinda stuff is not easy to find on the internet !!

So, it's taken months of this song being played like crazy on The Beat, but, now that I've heard it so many times and learned all the words (albeit, inadvertently), I LOVE this track! Great stuff!

lol...I've liked this song like 2 months after it was released, and this was released pretty early this year, probably this past spring. The Beat has played the crap out of this, but it isn't bad. ;)

her duets with collage were kinda cute (can't we try & dreamboy dreamgirl) ... i guess this means the new single didn't pick up any steam? too bad.
hir first singles took me back to the days when freestyle WAS dance music... and what u did 2 me was quite a revalation! awesome track!
