I agree Mo's voice is one of the best in the genre but I don't think I would say it's a personal fave of mine. Jake Owen's got a stellar voice (when he decides to utilize it, imo) but I wouldn't say I have a soft spot for his voice. I tried to be a little selective. I'm sure there will be quite a few who list Mo Pitney. :)

One of my all time favorites has got to be Ricky Van Shelton. To me he has one of the best baritones of all time. Sometimes someone will ask me what I think of some male singer and I will say, well he's no Ricky Van Shelton but he's pretty good. My current favorite baritone is Chris Young.
In the higher register my favorites are probably John Berry and Collin Raye. They make it sound effortless until you try to sing along with them and realize how high it is.
Among females, Martina McBride is probably my favorite although I think Carrie's voice is pretty much flawless too. I have also always liked Trisha Yearwood's voice a lot.

To add on to my previous post, those were probably what I would consider the "best" voices, or maybe the most pleasing to my ear. I do also greatly enjoy a lot of voices that are, well, less than perfect, maybe a little more gritty. I love Alabama's Randy Owen, Johnny Cash, Steve Earle, Jason and the Scorchers, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Charlie Rich, Sawyer Brown's Mark Miller, and Dwight Yoakam.

Male
Richard Sterban (Oak Ridge Boys) Chris Stapleton Travis Tritt Henry Paul (Blackhawk) Hal Ketchum Vince Gill Marty Robbins Marty Raybon (Shenandoah) Marty Roe (Diamond Rio... what is it with country singers named Marty?) Ricky Lee and Doug Phelps (The Kentucky Headhunters) Ronnie Dunn Zac Brown James Otto Gary Morris Drew Womack (Sons of the Desert) Gary Allan Raul Malo (The Mavericks) Tracy Lawrence Tyler Farr (yeah, I know...)
Female Pam Tillis Sarah Buxton Tanya Tucker Suzy Bogguss Alison Krauss Lorrie Morgan Lee Ann Womack Natalie Maines (Dixie Chicks) K.T. Oslin Patty Loveless
I don't really like belting since I find it so overdone, so I haven't put any of the belters on here. A lot of country females all sound the same to me, so some of the ones I've picked have more distinctive voices that catch my ear easily.

For some bizarre reason I see that I didn't mention Merle Haggard in my initial post. Allow me to correct that glaring oversight.

She's entirely awesome. Gorgeous pure voice. It was the same when I saw her live a year or two ago.

Am I the only one that finds George Straits voice to be very overrated? Nope, I have seen that opinion expressed many times! And I agree that he can't hold a candle to someone like Chris Young or Ronnie Dunn vocally. But damn does he know what he is good at and continue to do it consistently... Lol! Personally I love George's voice though. He has such a warm, velvety tone to my ears. People do seem to talk about his limited range as a reason for him being overrated, but honestly he does still have a very strong baritone range (approximately Eb2 to Ab4, which is 2 octaves and a 4th). Luke, Blake, Jason, etc. never go anywhere near that low, and top out just a note or two higher than that...
