Figured I'd start this since I haven't seen it yet.
I just listened through the album for the first time. It’s a very solid album! It’s a good mixture of upbeat/fun and serious songs. Since it’s his first album under a major Nashville label, the production on some songs is a little more edgy and more 2016 country radio friendly than his past material but lyrically, he’s still the same old Granger especially on the serious songs. Also love that “5 More Minutes” is included on the album. Definitely one of his best songs. Love that “‘Merica" closes out the album. Having “Backroad Song” first is definitely a good move since that’s the song that started his mainstream success. Also the title track is a gem. It’s probably my favorite song on the album.

Is there a link to stream the album? Spotify or somewhere else?

Excellent album on the first listen! Honestly no bad songs but I hope he releases "Remington", "Tractor", "Crazy As Me" or "Five More Minutes" to radio just to show his softer side. "If The Boot Fits" is a great follow-up to "Backroad Song" in my opinion.

Several sources (including Hits Daily Double, Amazon, and ABC News) have the label for this album listed as "Red Ant/BMG". What the hell is that? Lol. Granger is on the Wheelhouse Records imprint of Broken Bow Records Music Group. I googled "Granger Smith Red Ant BMG" and it didn't really come up with anything other than a few articles talking about Remington, all of which had "Red Ant/BMG" as the label.
I can sort of see how BMG might supposed to be Broken Bow Records Music Group, but the correct initials for that are BBRMG, not BMG, lol.
iTunes lists the label as © Wheelhouse Records, so I'm not sure where the heck this Red Ant/BMG stuff came from.

I do know SONY RED, which is distribution for certain artists, but I have no idea what "Red Ant" is. It sounds like something got lost in translation along the way here..

The 4 or 5 articles all had essentially the exact same text, so it's likely that one of them typed up this "Red Ant/BMG" thing and then the other outlets all just copied the story. It's really weird that Hits and Amazon have Red Ant/BMG as the label, though.

This guy had a decent following coming in and I could totally see him naming a label Red Ant haha
