maybe the album release can give ITAPII a nice boost for the Hot 100 that week? Hopefully ITAPII won't have peaked by then, though I doubt it since that's a month and a half away...

hmm...well after just a few hours he's already back in top 40 so I don't think he'll lose too many sales from that :) besides, sales overall are pitiful these days so I don't think it will have much of an impact anyway. I don't think Posner will be lower than 10 next week. That being said, "Sorry" will tie the record as did WDYM, but "Love Yourself" will probably break it anyway, it seems.

No and Dangerous Woman have precisely demonstrated that: IF YOU WANT TO DEBUT IN TOP 10, BETTER HAVE A GOOD SONG! Oddly I think the reverse of what you're saying is true. I like No but not Dangerous Woman, so to me the former was cheated out of a spot and then crap got in, though I'm not a very huge fan of No either. |

Some predictions for the next few weeks/months:
NO will peak at #1
7 Years will peak at #2 (Sadly)
MM&I will peak at #7
CBTO is gonna begin its downfall in a few weeks
ITAPII will peak no higher than #6 (Sadly)
Sorry will tie the 21-week record, not break it.
Love Yourself will have 24 consecutive weeks in the top 10 (breaking the record by 3).
Never Forget You will reach the top 10 and peak at #7 or #9 (Sadly, it won't go higher than #7)

I like The Hills more than CFMF, but both are in my top 5 favorite songs to come out in 2015 so I am really glad for both of them being so successful. I'm pretty content with how much success CFMF has already had on the Hot 100 :) but I definitely wouldn't mind if it rebounded this coming week. The Hills, on the other hand, it seems will also fall prey to the silly new rule...otherwise it would probably get close to 60 weeks on the chart >:( it still just doesn't make sense to me to cut a song's life in the top 50 short like that, since a song in the 26-50 range is still quite relevant IMO (and that's irrelevant to the fact that The Hills is one of my favorite songs this decade...I like Trap Queen a lot less and I'm even there I'm frustrated at how TQ could've possibly made that Wikipedia page) |

The "Starships record" will get a new name. If this Bieber song doesn't get it, the next one certainly will.

Work From Home will finally land Fifth Harmony's first top 10 soon enough. Who would have thought X Factor US which just lasted 3 seasons will have a more successful artist than higher rated The Voice Maybe it's just me, but X Factor contestants always seemed way more likely to succeed in the real world than The Voice's. The Voice's contestants usually look like someone you'd hear at a wedding. |

I wonder if some of the rising hits lower down the chart are about to get 10+ spot boosts in the coming week? Either way, the turnover rate for hits these past couple months has been pretty intense.
