DJ Tiesto's "Flight 643" was an epic track. It was really different from some of his earlier productions. It was really hard and electro-ish sounding while still being synthy and uplifting. I prefer Oliver Klein's Vocal Mix featuring Suzanne Palmer. It's a remix issued under the title "Flight 643 (Love's On Fire)". The other tracks are pretty good too. But the five I would think of as the best trance songs ever are not listed here. Delerium - Heaven's Earth [Matt Darey Club Mix] Jan Johnston - Flesh 2002 [DJ Tiesto In Search Of Sunrise Mix] Salt Tank - Eugina 2000 [Progressive Summer Mix] Dumonde - See The Light [Extended Mix] ATB - 9PM (Till I Come) [Matt Darey Mix] I've never heard of any of those lol You might have heard them but didn't know the names and artists of them. But if you don't listen to trance that much, you may not have heard these yet.

Too many too choose from. Of the ones you listed I like Paul VanDyk, only cuz I usually prefer vocal trance, although some classics like Robert Miles' "Children" and Dario G's "Sunchyme" were wicked even w/out much vocal if any vocal. Delerium's "Silence" either Tiesto or Airscape mixes deserve mention.

I'll abstain from voting, I'm not familiar with too much trance before '98 or '99 or so.ย I was more into progressive and hard house back then, and before that, Chicago house and techno, and before that... lol
I do know the Cafe Del Mar track and I have to say that I like it a lot.ย If I were to compare it to other trance anthems from way back when, then I couldn't tell you, since I don't know.

Cafe Del Mar - I LOVE that track so much!
My favourite trace songs ever For An Angel - Paul Van Dyk (PVD E-werk Club Mix) Embrace - Agnelli & Nelson Circuits - Mike Koglin vs Jono Grant
There are so many that I absolutely LOVE but those 3 strand out the most...along with Cafe Del Mar.

Did Southern Sun have any good remixes? Yes. The remixes were done by DJ Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Sabata, Solar Stone, Liquid Todd and Neo & Farina. I haven't heard most of them. I have heard the DJ Tiesto and Solar Stone mix.
