Here’s my top ten dance singles, post yours!
1. Juliet - "Avalon" – I am liking everything Jacques Lu Cont touches, I am anxiously awaiting the Juliet album
2. Basement Jaxx - "Oh My Gosh" - Great quirky dance song, does this have what it takes to be a novelty hit in the US?
3. Fantasia - "Its All Good" - Another great idol, I’m glad Scumfrog remixed this song, he's also becoming a favorite of mine, what he did with Utada's "Devil Inside" is classic in my book
4. Mariah Carey - "It's Like That" - I've been awaiting these remixes for way too long, they're pretty good, diggin the Morales Classic Remix
5. Anastasia - "Sick and Tired" -Nevins Electrofunk is funkin up my ears. How long till i hear it in clubs in Detroit, probably never
6. 84 King Street - "So Many Men" - So many remixes, so little time, what should I do. Great song, gettin old!
7. Global Deejays - "American Pie" - Hat trick style (that’s 3 for 3, right?) "The Sound Of San Francisco", "What A Feeling" and now this one! Second favorite of the three.
8. D1 Music Feat. Lisa Hunt - "The Joint Is Jumpin" (Blueroom Pumpin' Anthem) Fun house anthem, not enough credit for this song in my opinion, just a fun song. Older too but im still diggin it a ton
9. Casey Stratton - "House Of Jupiter" - Junior Vasquez worked his magic and turned song this into one of the most melodic songs to hit the clubs in quite some time. Interesting composition
10. (tie, couldnt pick between the two ) Chemical Brothers - "Galvanize" and Moby "Lift Me Up"
Chemical Brothers - "Galvanize" - Great to hear Q - tip in the clubs, I’m favoring the Abe Duque Remix. The original version of this song is better than the remix in my opinion though.
Moby "Lift Me Up" This one is still growing on me, The Mylo remix is great, though not enough lyrics, The Superdiscount mix is the mix im favoring at the moment, the Abe Duque mix is just ok.
Couldn’t Limit it to 20, sorry
11. The Killers – “Mr Brightside” My boy Jacques Lu Cont brings it in the remix, getting tired of the remix though.
12. Emma Bunton - "Maybe" (Almighty mix) - Probably should be higher on my chart but I’m still working it up there.
13. Gadjo - "So Many Times" - how many remixes of this song are they gonna put out, and how many of them am i going to like
14. Kylie Minogue - "I Believe In You" - Whoever this Mylo guy is he is currently killin it. Good Kylie single.
15. Shapeshifters - "Back To Basics" - love the song, but its old and its "Lola's Theme" redux, formerly a chart topper though
16. David Morales Ft Tamra Keenan - "Here I Am" - Still climbing my charts. In its original form, i like "Here I Am" better than the original "How Would You Feel." With Remixes they are about tied.
17. Sheila Brody - "You Ain’t That Good" - Attitude, Attitude, Attitude! I love the blue room mix. This is a great house anthem for the people who like the drama.
18. Erasure - "Breathe" - love this song but its gettin old
19. Fannypack - "Yeah, Yeah" - Another novelty hit from the New York group. Should be a minor radio hit. We'll see if it can accomplish anything this summer.
20. Seal - "Killer 2005" Rauhauffer remix #2 kills me
Also in there and Still workin it
Danii Minogue Vs. Flower Power - You Won’t Forget About me
Debby Holiday - Half A Mile Away
Kaskade - Sweet Love
Soul Central Feat. Kathy Brown - String Of Life
