Okay, you might be wondering why I am posting about this 10 year old track.
Here is my question. I have noticed on the CD single it says that the song contains a sample from Sandee's "Notice Me" in the song. Which part in the MDK track is sampled from the Sandee track?

I like that track too, but that's another song. I have uploaded a low quality sample of the whole song to make it a little easier. Boy, that's a tough one. I have the original 12" for Magic Carpet Ride (believe it or not, it's a lavender colored 10" vinyl LOL) and I don't hear "Notice Me" ANYWHERE on either mix. However, I did do a search on Google, and it confirms your finding of the use of the "Notice Me" sample - for the "Fatboy Slim Latin Ska Acid Breakfast Mix". This mix isn't on my paticular vinyl (it only has the original mix and "Son Of Wilmot" mix). Anyway, these are the two links I found with the credits for it... www.imdb.com/title/tt0192071/soundtrackwww.discogs.com/release/220919I'd kind of like to hear that Fatboy Slim Latin Ska Acid Breakfast Mix just to see how different it is from the versions I have (which sound almost identical to the sample you provided). FYI, just in case anyone didn't know, Fatboy Slim and Mighty Dub Katz are one and the same.

The Ultiedit, the Ultimix, the Vocoder Edit, the No Comprende Edit and the Son Of Wilmot mix. I checked out every sample of every remix that is available of "Notice Me" and I think I found where the sample is from. Check it on this page. It's track number 10 on CD 3

I was beginning to wonder about that... that was gonna be my next suggestion, was that maybe it came from a REMIX of Notice Me. Good work!

On a totally off topic note, nice avatar Disco Dude. Do you make them yourself?

On a totally off topic note, nice avatar Disco Dude. Do you make them yourself? Not all of them. I made those Madonna "Erotica" and "American Life" ones from the music videos. I usually go to fan sites that have avatars. I ripped off that one from a Mariah Carey forum. You can do a Google search for avatars that feature a particular person in them.

Yea, I don't hear the samples either! You have to admit, though, Fatboy (Norman Cook) is an ingenious producer. Listen to the other MDK jams over the years -- WOWOW!!
