TOP
1. If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away 2. This Kind of Town 3. You Look Like I Need a Drink 4. Small Town USA 5. How I Got to Be This Way 6. Til My Last Day 7. Point at You 8. Bait a Hook (am I the only one who thought this was a good song?) 9. Back That Thing Up (so sue me; I've defended this song before)
BOTTOM 1. Lettin' the Night Roll (just boring) 2. Backwoods (just average) 3. Home Sweet Home (I thought he actually did a good job covering it, but it just wasn't single material at all)

I haven't heard enough to do a top/bottom 5 but I will say I think "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" is a really good song.

I haven't heard enough to do a top/bottom 5 but I will say I think "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" is a really good song. Rhett Akins released his version in 2006 but it did nothing on the charts.

TOP (I’m not gonna lie, #1 through 6 are all pretty close) 1. Small Town USA (love this) 2. Back That Thing Up (big ole sue me, love this) 3. If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away 4. Bait a Hook (this is one of his most popular songs in concert) 5. How I Got to Be This Way (Claim to fame: I was in the crowd in the video) 6. Point at You 7. Backwoods 8. You Look Like I Need a Drink 9. Til My Last Day 10. Lettin' the Night Roll
TOP ALBUM CUTS 1. One Dirt Road (this is an awesome song, missed single opportunity) 2. Redneck Side 3. I Could Kick Your Ass (an even bigger sue me) 4. Old Back in the New School 5. My Kinda Woman 6. If You Don’t Like My Twang
BOTTOM 1. This Kind of Town (I know people liked this, I just didn’t think this was good single material) 2. Home Sweet Home (I thought he actually did a GREAT job covering it, probably a bit too metal for country radio)
BEST COVER 1. Man! I Feel Like A Woman (if you haven't seen this, it's pretty good)

Not even guilty pleasures for me. Highly enjoy both. They are both tongue in cheek and just fun songs.

I think the people who didn't get the concept of "Bait a Hook" saw it only as "I'm country so I'm better than everyone else" and not what it actually is, "I'm bitter over the guy my ex is now with".
Likewise, as I've said before about "Back That Thing Up", I think many people didn't pay attention to the last verse, which completely negates any sexual innuendo the previous verses built up ("Ain't no time to play today, no rollin' in the hay"). And that's the only song I can think of that uses a lot of double entendre, only to make it clear by the end that it's going with the more innocent interpretation of the lines. In that sense, it's the anti-"Donkey".

The verses in "Back That Thing Up" get under my skin.
I don't even care about the innuendo.
