Name up to three (failed) singles you wish could get re-released. You may express why you feel it could work to re-release the track.
LoCash - "Best Seat In The House" (if they can manage to string a few moderate hits together with Reviver, I really think it would be great to re-release this song, assuming Average Joe's Entertainment allows them; it's by far the best thing they've ever done and while it's a song that isn't the kind you tend to hear on radio anymore, it's quality and genuineness is superb)
Chris Janson - "Cut Me Some Slack" (it was on a different -- now defunct -- label, but this is my favorite release from Chris so far and I think the production and melody would really work with programmers if pushed by a strong label like Warner Music Nashville)
Ryan Kinder - "Kiss Me When I'm Down" (I must admit, I'm not as big on this track as others are but I agree it sucks his label closed up shop, right when this one was released to radio -- it deserves another chance. I doubt it will be considered though)
I would've said "Jackson Hole" by James Wesley but I seriously doubt he ever gets a hit at radio and surely, they won't attempt a re-release of that song when and if they attempt him at radio again (even though the song is fantastic).
I also thought about "We Rode In Trucks" but that song is widely known about from Luke's fans since he's gotten so huge, so I don't think it would ever get considered, even though it never broke the top 30, eight years ago.

These are just 3 that come to mind that I liked.
Little Big Town - "Kiss Goodbye"
Thompson Square - "Let's Fight"
Tim McGraw - "Right Back Atcha Babe" - This one would highly be unlikely to happen since it was released on his last Curb album, Emotional Traffic. Unless he somehow re-recorded it for a Big Machine album.

1. Cam - "My Mistake" (probably not happening even if "Mayday" catches a second wind)
2. LoCash - "Best Seat in the House" (I've heard they've entertained the idea of revisiting this one)
3. Shane McAnally - "Are Your Eyes Still Blue" (as big as a name as he is now, it could fly...)

2. LoCash - "Best Seat in the House" (I've heard they've entertained the idea of revisiting this one) Where did you hear this? I would be spitting out rainbows is this came to fruition.

I interviewed them in December and they said they would like to revisit some of their old material. I believe rsmatto said likewise.

Shane McAnally - "Are Your Eyes Still Blue" (as big as a name as he is now, it could fly...) McAnally's personal life wouldn't allow it, radio certainly doesn't think out gay people exist as stars in country music.

Miranda Lambert & Little Big Town - Smoking and Drinking (I think it could easily be the song of the summer if given the chance.)
Kellie Pickler - 100 Proof (It's still mind blowing how RCA dropped her when this was her current single. I felt that song could have been to her what The House That Built Me was to Miranda.)
Jennifer Nettles - Sugar (Super fun song. I always wanted Jennifer to have a huge solo career.)
Bonus Single: Dierks Bentley & Kacey Muscgraves - Bourbon In Kentucky

1. Cam - "My Mistake" (probably not happening even if "Mayday" catches a second wind) What do you mean by this? She won't get a third single or they wouldn't repush this? This was the first song that came to my head though.

This was the first song that came to my head though. What I mean is, unless "Mayday" starts moving, I don't see the album having another single at all, re-release or otherwise. Like how Chris Young had to prove himself with two #1 hits before getting "Voices" re-released.

I'm pretty sure that they'll issue one more single from it, regardless of how the current single does (the likelihood of a third single imo is just as good if "Mayday" peaked right where it was and died tomorrow or if it made it to the Top 10 this fall).

"Turning Home" spent over 30 weeks on the chart and reached the top 20, it got far too high for a re-release; love the song though.

"Turning Home" spent over 30 weeks on the chart and reached the top 20, it got far too high for a re-release; love the song though. Not to nitpick but I don't think this is really necessary. This whole thread idea is predicated on something that is unlikely to happen, as singles are seldom re-released regardless of how they did initially, so getting hung up on where they peaked/how long they spent on the chart is a bit trivial. Granted, while I think anything that reached the Top 20 is a bit much, there's no real ceiling that can be put on this anyway since it's really all fantasy anyway. I could see something like "Love" getting re-released down the road if Jana Kramer blew up and became a bigger star. You never know. ;)

I know they seldom happen (I started the thread, with the wording "wish"). I know I'm more into chart peaks than most but if people want to list whatever song, then I can put my 2 cents in on how songs that reach the top 30 or top 20 will and "shouldn't" get re-released.

Chris stapleton "what are you listening to". With the image shift and the current sound I don't see this ever finding it's way onto a new album of his. This song is beautiful and is one I would love to see re-released. Eric paslay - if the fish don't bite- still amazed this one did nothing. Had the makings of a major hit. Not a big enough name for it to hit when released

1. Dierks - Bourbon in Kentucky 2. Randy Montana - 1,000 Faces (love it) 3. Aaron Watson - That Look (had Blake covered this, it would've easily gone #1. And Aaron sang the hell out of this versus those who phone in number 1 hits)

BEACHING HIMSELF AT #1: Dierks Bentley collects his fourteenth #1 hit this week with Somewhere On A Beach. It is the lead single to his upcoming album, Black. His last album, Riser gave him a quintet of chart appearances. They are: 1. Bourbon In Kentucky-2013-#45 2. I Hold On-2014-#1 3. Drunk On A Plane-2014-#1 4. Say You Do-2015-#1 5. Riser-2015-#24

1. Cam - "My Mistake" 2. Thompson Square - "Testing The Water" 3. Shane McAnally - "Are Your Eyes Still Blue" (I heard this for the first time a few weeks ago, and thought what a shame it was that he won't get proper radio airplay. Country radio needs to wake up).

Also want to bring up "Won't Be Young Forever" by Dakota Bradley.
It never broke past the top 70 in 2014 and I do think the song is plenty good enough for another artist (more established) to release themselve. Dakota is without a label since Streamsound shutdown.
99.9% of Country listeners have never heard the song because of its relative non-existent airplay.

Dakota is without a label since Streamsound shutdown. When did that happen? Their website is still up and I don't believe I'd seen anything about the label ceasing operation.
