DW sales picked up since the album was released. It might drop almost half of the sales next week. Its airplay is slow growing but might not earn it a newer peak. Agreed. Plus, it's time to move on to Into You for the summer. DW was a decent hit, another top 10 for the books, but I don't think it's going to be hanging around for too much longer.

Be careful on fast judgement on Just Like Fire. Though it has good sales and should benefit from the movie effect, keep in mind that it had the BBMA effect last week that it'll need to compensate for in keeping momentum, and the movie effect may be understated due to the low box office results and/or the Depp domestic abuse case. True. The movie is bombing, relatively, and it's growth at Pop has slowed way down. I'm betting against top 10 for Pink this time. Just doesn't seem likely. Sometimes soundtrack singles' success don't always match up with their movie's success though. Who's that Girl, which starred Madonna, was a huge critical and box office flop (of many from her), but it actually produced 2 pretty big top 2 hits. If the songs themselves are good enough, they can succeed on their own merits.

It's also still #3 on iTunes (and has been there for quite a while now) which was as high as it got after the BBMAs, and the effect of that has long since worn off.

All I'm saying is that ultimately I don't think it's going to peak in the top 10 of the Hot 100, movie success or not at this point, but the movie's lack of hugeness at the box office isn't helping as much as it could have. It's clearly helping after opening weekend, which is why it's sitting pretty at #3 on iTunes. Madonna was the hottest star around at the time of Who's That Girl, and the whole thing was a vehicle for her pop star power so while what you're saying is true, it's not quite the same scenario with Pink and this movie. But you're absolutely right, a big movie doesn't make a big soundtrack single, and a big soundtrack single can come from a bomb movie. I mostly feel this way about JLF because of radio and streaming, though, not the movie.

I'd bet JLF gets #10 this week, no higher and no lower. Could this be the week Work finally leaves the top 10? Long overdue IMO. My personal take on the song aside, it hasn't even felt big at all for the past month or so.
I apologize not entirely on topic but does anyone else also no longer have suggested threads at the bottom or is it just me? Because I want to be able to quickly access the 6/18 thread but I noticed that lately it doesn't show it on the bottom :( (and yes I'm on the desktop version not mobile version)

How can you know the movie is helping it sit at #3 when it was sitting at #3 all week before the movie dropped? Did its popularity bars rise all that much when the movie hit?

They saw a slight increase on Saturday, but that has since warn off as well.
