Update for Week 87 (August 13, 2016) and a few more other updates: With school starting next Monday (the hardest year of my public schooling - high school junior year), work load and stress level are going to skyrocket. However, I will continue posting my personal chart here and chart history on Crownnote now that I have the system there familiarized. I might miss a week here and there if things get too hectic, but I'll make sure to catch up the week after. I will also revert back to my Saturday schedule for posting personal charts here. I don't have a set schedule for posting chart history. I guess I'll post more on less busier weeks and less on more busier weeks. My goal is to get all weeks uploaded by the end of 2016 to Crownnote and start videos on those weeks in 2017. Check out Crownnote if you are interested in my chart's history! That being said, let's go into this week's chart! A few interesting things happened that were a bit unexpected and can be considered as an upset... What is expected, however, is Peter Pan's 6th likely week at #1. This would put Peter Pan tied with twenty one pilots' Stressed Out for the 3rd longest run at #1. And Peter Pan is still gaining substantially in points (not as fast as before, but still gaining), which means 6 weeks might not be the end. If it holds at #1 for two more weeks after this week, it would be tied with The Weeknd's The Hills for the longest running #1 song on my chart at 8 weeks. Also note that Peter Pan is the first country song to hit #1 on my chart, which means that a country song might soon hold crucial records on a pop dominated chart. Here is where the upset comes in. I expected Ride hitting #2 this week almost for sure, passing Dibs and Don't Let Me Down. However, this pass does not seem like it may be happening, at least this week. It is probably due to the recent shift in focus from 21p's Ride to their Heathens, causing points that were supposed to go to the former to go to the latter. This does mean, however, that Heathens will make a huge leap into the top 10 this week. I Took A Pill In Ibiza easily holds onto #5, but doesn't go without a challenge next week. Can't Stop The Feeling and Rock Bottom have a close competition for #6 and #7, with Heathens and Better Place having a close competition for #8 and #9. Rock Bottom and Heathens are both surging pretty strongly, and ITAPII faces competition from both songs next week, possibly dropping out of the top 5. But this week, ITAPII is pretty much safe. Kelsea Ballerini should log her 3rd career top 10 and simultaneous top 10 with her unreleased When I Think About You. With this, she becomes only the second artist to achieve three simultaneous top 10s, after Taylor Swift with Wildest Dreams, Out Of The Woods, and Style in the beginning of 2016. (Note: I don't have any official record for this feat, but I'm pretty sure there isn't any artist who achieved this other than Taylor). The expected top 10 entrances of Heathens and WITAY should knock two songs out of the top 10: Me, Myself & I, which had an extra boost two weeks ago which barely pushed it into the top 10, and Stressed Out, which has actually been in the top 10 since the last week of 2015. It has spent 33 weeks in the top 10, the third most of all time (behind Style (38 wks) and My House (36 wks)). Impressive, 21p! Definitely the song that really made me a fan of theirs. (Actually, if Stressed Out manages to stay in the top 10 somehow and Heathens manages to enter the top 10, both 21p and Kelsea log three simultaneous top 10s in the same week. That means 6 out of 10 songs in the top 10 are Kelsea Ballerini or twenty one pilots. That's 60%... But of course, that was hypothetical. That would require a huge drop from either Better Place or Can't Stop The Feeling, which doesn't seem likely, especially for the latter.) I didn't get a chance to watch Suicide Squad yet, but I'm planning to watch it this weekend. Yay, watching movies at the very last days of summer... So no special debuts are happening this week because of the movie (except for Sucker For Pain, which is eyeing at a top 50, perhaps higher, debut). Next week might see a few SS songs debuting, though. I'm also having some trouble with Microsoft Office, which I use to create the format of my chart (fancy font, etc). Chart will still be posted this week, but no fancy format. I'll try to solve the Office problem as soon as possible and the format I use should return in a few weeks. Wow, long update this week. But guess this is a pretty important week both personally and on my chart. Hopefully all that didn't bore you guys too much lol. Kelsea Ballerini (6) Chicken077's Personal Chart - Week 87 (August 13, 2016):

@markg94 : Thanks! Most of those songs made impressive gains or continued their longevity this week! And definitely look for Rock Bottom and Heathens to dominate over the next weeks! :) Leo ✔ : haha thanks :). Last week before school starts, gotta use this last time I have to post a longer update lol Ice Cream 15 (Broccoli 2018) : Thanks! It's gonna be a tough year, but hopefully I'll have some free time to work on my chart :)
No fancy format this week due to Microsoft Office issues. It will be returning in 1-2 weeks.

Blurbs: -Peter Pan easily snags a 6th week at #1 and a 9th week in the top 10. With this, it ties with Stressed Out for the third longest time spent at #1: 1. THE WEEKND - THE HILLS (8 wks) 2. TAYLOR SWIFT - STYLE (7 wks) 3/4. TWENTY ONE PILOTS - STRESSED OUT (6 wks) 3/4. KELSEA BALLERINI - PETER PAN (6+ wks) Will it break the record? It is currently gaining points at a substantial rate, but not as fast as before. It will be a close one, now that Rock Bottom and Heathens are surging. -The #2 song also goes to Kelsea Ballerini with Dibs, which spends a 26th week in the top 10. Its point peak is probably this week, and starting with next week, it will start declining. Still, it's had an awesome run and it has a huge chance to challenge 30 weeks in the top 10, a feat that only five songs accomplished. -Former #1 Don't Let Me Down lost its bullet this week but keeps at #3 thanks to a slow decline rate and Ride's unexpected stall. DLMD spends a 20th week in the top 10 and should be looking for a pretty slow fall similar to Stressed Out and I Took A Pill In Ibiza, making this song another possible contender for 30 weeks in the top 10. Twenty one pilots' Ride, despite expecting to continue its rise this week, stalls out at #4, possibly due to a shift in focus to Heathens. It spends a 9th week in the top 10 and we'll see if this stall is temporary or if it has reached its peak. -Mike Posner's comeback single and his first #1 I Took A Pill In Ibiza continues its snail like fall and holds at #5, spending a 21st week in the top 10. It is another contender for 30 weeks in the top 10. -This may be ITAPII's final week in the top 5, as Hailee Steinfeld and DNCE's first #1 Rock Bottom surges 8 - 6 and is preying on the top 5 as early as next week. This is its 2nd week in the top 10 and may soon be a challenger for #1. Meanwhile, it knocks back Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling down 6 - 7, which spends a 5th week in the top 10. Despite still increasing in points, CSTF likely peaked in position due to so many songs increasing faster than it. -Below CSTF is the big one this week. Twenty one pilots log a 3rd career top 10 with Suicide Squad soundtrack Heathens, which surges 15 - 8. And I didn't even watch the movie yet. Which means that once I watch the movie and it enters top 10 on the BB Hot 100, this song will explode on my chart. It's a competition between this song and Rock Bottom to see who can dethrone Peter Pan, and if either can do it fast enough to prevent Kelsea from breaking the record. -Heathens and Rock Bottom knock back Rachel Platten's 2nd #1 Better Place down to #9, which spends a 16th week in the top 10. -Our second top 10 entry this week goes to Kelsea Ballerini's unreleased single When I Think About You, which I never expected to come this far due to it being unreleased. With this song, Kelsea becomes just the 2nd artist to score three simultaneous singles in the top 10, with Taylor Swift being the first in January 2016 (Wildest Dreams, Out Of The Woods, Style). Another huge achievement for her! -Among other notable gains include Daya's former #5 Sit Still, Look Pretty, which holds at #13 but gains back a bullet; Shawn Mendes's Treat You Better, which continues its rise to #18 (possibly leap frogging X Ambassadors' Unsteady next week due to that song starting to stall); Never Be Like You, which enters the top 20; Lush Life, leap frogging We Don't Talk Anymore (which nevertheless rises 29 - 24) and surging 30 - 23; Make Me... re-reaching its peak 35 - 31; Starving, You Don't Own Me, and Lovesick entering the top 40; The Sound Of Silence and Gold entering the top 50; Body Say continuing to surge to 53; Hymn For The Weekend, Mama Said, and Rise (thanks to the video and Olympics) entering the top 70; as well as gains by all of last week's debuts (most notably Closer and Tiimmy Turner). -We had a pretty strong list of fall offs this week, including Zootopia soundtrack Try Everything, former top 20 and 54 weeks on chart Do It Again, former top 4 No, former #2 Love Yourself, 10 week #1 on the BB Hot 100 and former top 20 on my chart One Dance (which will return if the video comes), and former top 10 Here. Replacing them include I Hate U, I Love U, Setting The World On Fire, Sam Hunt's fifth charting single Make You Miss Me, All Time Low's second charting single (after former top 10 Something's Gotta Give) Missing You, Timeflies's long waited first charting single Once In A While, and Suicide Squad soundtrack Sucker For Pain. A pretty strong set of debuts, watch for some of these to start increasing as early as next week (especially Sucker For Pain).

The only reason I'm using this format is because I use MS Office to create the chart, and I'm having license problems with the software and I can't use it anymore... (I think it was related to that time when my laptop crashed, the software registration somehow corrupted with my hard drive, and now it's saying over the past 30 days I was using a trial version and now I'm not licensed to use MS Office anymore >:( ) I'll revert back to the previous format once I get the problem fixed :) And sure, I'll tag Mr. Thonk Eyes from now on! :)

Also Sucker for pain, missing you and i hate, u i love u debuts! Nice chart!! ^_^ Thanks! All those songs seem to be doing great and will probably make it higher! And especially watch for Rock Bottom and Heathens - the next #1 is probably between the two! :) Yay for The Sound Of Silence and Gold entering the top 50! Heathens in the top 10!!! Sucker For Pain and I Hate U, I Love U both debut! Also, liking the Hymn For The Weekend, Cold Water, Closer, Tiimmy Turner, Mama Said and We Don't Talk Anymore gains. As said earlier, all those songs are looking good for more gains over the next few weeks! :) As with Ride's case, its honestly a 50/50 chance at this point. Heathens stole a lot of points from Ride this week, and as long as it can recover, it's off to a #3 or #2 peak. But there have been examples in my chart's history where similar cases happened and songs weren't able to recover... (The Hills/CFMF, though Hills managed to veer ahead after a few months; Bad Blood/Wildest Dreams - causing BB to finish at a #5 peak).

Midweek Update for Week 88 (August 20, 2016): Welcome to my first update during my school year! Monday was my first day of school, and stress is already pretty high on the second day. Junior year is going to be tough... so I might be slacking here or there on Pulse. Those of you that also follow my posts on other threads (Hot 100 predictions, DZ, and Crownnote) may see me having delayed posts. But the one thing I hope to keep up with is this thread. I will try not to delay any postings here and hopefully it will go well! I do have a last resort plan with my friend of mine helping me post here if things get too hectic one week. She's a senior, so most of the stress is pretty much over for her. Hopefully I won't have to resort to this... Anyways, let's get started with the update! Peter Pan is coming for that most weeks at #1 record! It is set for a 7th week at #1 this week with ever increasing points which I don't see slowing anytime soon. It should tie with Taylor Swift's Style (and the #1 song of all time on my chart) for the second most weeks at #1 this week and one more week ties it with The Hills for the most weeks at #1. Two more weeks? Peter Pan gets that record all for itself! Who would've expected that when Peter Pan first debuted or even first hit #1? The #2 to #4 positions are all close. Close enough that I have no guarantee at this point which song will get which position. The battle is between Dibs, Don't Let Me Down, and Ride. Ride seems to have recovered from last week's stall and is challenging the other two songs, but Dibs is still increasing slowly and DLMD received a sudden boost this week due to school starting and my classmates literally loving that song. This will be an interesting battle... Rock Bottom and Heathens continue their meteoric rise and should finish this week very close. Close enough that the #5 position isn't guaranteed. The two songs are expected to rise high enough to push I Took A Pill In Ibiza down two positions from 5 to 7. It has had massive longevity in the top 5, being in the region since April. It's had a great run, and I see it being a huge challenger for that top 5 on the year end chart. Can't Stop The Feeling is also pushed back by Heathens down to #8 despite still gaining in points. I see this peaking in points soon, and I don't really think it'll make it higher than its current #6 peak. Kelsea Ballerini's When I Think About You continues its slow but surprisingly steady run by passing Better Place to hit #9. I never expected it to have made it this far, especially since it's unreleased. We'll see how far this impressive steadiness can take it. Better Place hence drops 9 - 10, but faces a challenge from former #5 Sit Still, Look Pretty for a top 10 spot soon. SSLP was a former top 10, but dropped out a few weeks ago. Since then, the song grew back on me and gained popularity, so now it's looking for a revival and another top 10 run (I actually predicted this revival when the song first dropped from the top 10 :) ) I feel like I kinda sound tired and worn out in that update... oh well, school just started, and I'm still getting used to my new schedule. Hopefully everything gets better soon although homework load's gonna continue increasing :)

Microsoft Office still isn't working... but Customer Service said it should be fixed by Tuesday. So still the boring format this week. Fancy format returning next week :) We have a pretty interesting week here. A few movements near the top were a bit unexpected.

Blurbs: -Peter Pan easily spends a 7th week at #1 and a 10th week in the top 10. It is currently tied with Taylor Swift's Style as the second longest run at #1. Only The Weeknd's The Hills spent more time at #1 with 8 weeks. If Peter Pan spends another week at #1, which is looking likely, it will tie with The Hills for the longest run at #1. Two more weeks at #1? Kelsea Ballerini will make history as Peter Pan becomes the song with the longest reign at #1: 1. THE WEEKND - THE HILLS (8 wks) 2/3. TAYLOR SWIFT - STYLE (7 wks) 2/3. KELSEA BALLERINI - PETER PAN (7+ wks) 4. TWENTY ONE PILOTS - STRESSED OUT (6 wks) -#2 and #4 are literally within 100 points of each other. This is my first week of school, and Don't Let Me Down is like our school anthem right now. Everyone is like in love with that song. Hence, it gains substantial points on my chart and pushes back up to #2. This pushes back Dibs down 2 - 3. Nobody in my school knows about this song, so this song didn't gain too much in points. Then comes twenty one pilots' Ride staying at #4. Despite recovering and starting to gain points again, it almost recovered enough to pass DLMD and Dibs, but sadly, it didn't. If DLMD didn't get that boost this week, Ride would've easily been #3. Ride could be able to enter the top 3 next week, but there's competition below it... This week is Don't Let Me Down's 21st week in the top 10, Dibs's 27th week in the top 10 (so close to 30 weeks! Likely to become the 6th song to achieve that feat!), and Ride's 10th week in the top 10. -The competition I was talking about above is actually twenty one pilots vs twenty one pilots! Heathens surges 8 - 5 this week and challenges Ride to a top 3 position next week. The thing is, I still didn't watch the movie! It went up plainly due to popularity at school and radio gains. So once I watch the movie and start actually listening to this song, it's going to explode. This will probably be the next #1, and will be the key determiner to whether Peter Pan can break the record or not. This is Heathens's 2nd week in the top 10. -Hailee Steinfeld and DNCE's collab Rock Bottom keeps its #6 peak on its 3rd week in the top 10, and despite getting leaped by Heathens, still gained massively and is showing massive potential for the weeks to come. Watch for it, as it could actually challenge the top positions soon. -Heathens and Rock Bottom push Mike Posner's former #1 I Took A Pill In Ibiza out of the top 5 to #7. It still is losing points super slowly, and will be a huge longevity monster in the months to come (actually it already is lol). This is its 22nd week in the top 10. Can't Stop The Feeling is also pushed back 7 - 8 by Heathens on its 6th week in the top 10. It still gained in points, but is looking like a point peak next week or the week after that. Especially with a few other songs coming, I don't see this going any higher than its current peak. -Kelsea's When I Think About You rises 10 - 9, continuing its slow but steady pace up the chart. This is its 2nd week in the top 10, and it is not looking like it's slowing down anytime soon. We'll see how far WITAY's steadyness takes it. This is the highest an unreleased song has ever done on my chart. -At #10 we have a returning top 10 entry, Daya's follow up single Sit Still, Look Pretty, which peaked at #5 in June 2016. As it gains mainstream popularity, it begins to gain again on my chart, ousting Better Place from the top 10 and preventing Stressed Out from returning to the region. This week is its 11th week in the top 10 and as it gains more traction, I see this actually making a new peak and perhaps challenging the top soon! -Under the top 10, Unsteady gets a sudden boost 17 - 12, but I'm not really sure if this boost is temporary or if its the song's breakthrough. Treat You Better and Never Be Like You continue to tag along back to back up the top 20 as Lush Life joins their squad. Make Me... bursts into the top 30 31 - 22 and is looking for further gains soon. We Don't Talk Anymore and Toothbrush tag along behind Britney, though I see the latter peaking in points soon. You Don't Own Me gets a 39 - 31 boost and should rise more when I watch the movie. Starving and Gold both make considerable gains below YDOM. Another Suicide Squad track, Sucker For Pain, breaks into the top 50 on the 2nd week of its chart run. Below it, considerable gains are made by The Sound Of Silence, Body Say, Hymn For The Weekend, Rise (due to the Olympics), 80s Mercedes, Closer, Cold Water, Tiimmy Turner, Fresh Eyes, as well as all of last week's debuts (they were pretty strong. Look for them to begin making major gains soon). -This week's dropouts and new entries weren't all that exciting, though. Wild Things, Broccoli, Youth, and Dangerous Woman all end their chart runs. This week's debuts are considerably weaker than last week's. The only one that has major potential is Cam's second charting single after Burning House, Mayday. The other three debuts include Tory Lanez's follow up Luv, Miranda Lambert's Vice, and the collab between Troye Sivan and Alessia Cara, WILD. Not saying they're bad songs. It's just that the past few weeks of debuts are very strong. This week's debuts just don't have as much potential as them. But they're still good songs. After all, I like most songs that even enter my chart :) -The 100 week anniversary to my chart is coming in 12 weeks! It's a little premature now, but I already thought of two things I will do! That week should fall a week or two before Thanksgiving, so I might delay all of this to Thanksgiving Break when I have more time. First, I will make an all time top 100 or 150 songs chart according to historical data on songs for my personal chart. I will also tell you guys a story on how I became interested in pop music and how I came up with a personal chart (I talked a little bit about this on my intro thread, but I'll tell a more detailed story). I might think of more things I will do, as 100 weeks seems pretty important for my personal chart :)

Midweek Update for Week 89 (August 27, 2016): WAY too much school work this week... Well, it's kinda my fault to be honest here. I didn't really use my two free periods wisely... Guess I learned from my mistake... It's 12AM for me now and I either should be working on history vocab or sleeping, but I'm here posting a midweek update... :| :| So let's be fast about this. Peter Pan easily holds on to a 8th week at #1, likely tying The Hills with the most weeks at #1. One more week, and it obtains that record all by itself! This might actually happen, given that the song is still increasing (but considerably slowed down) and the point gap between it and lower songs are huge thanks to all the huge increases over the past few weeks. The #2-5 battle is very interesting. Don't Let Me Down received a sudden increase last week and should return back to normal this week, decreasing a bit in points. Dibs still is continuing its slow rise and should be peaking in points this week. Ride is in a similar condition. Then we have Heathens, massively gaining in points this week. Dibs should be able to repass DLMD this week. But will Ride be able to finally make that top 3 after a long stall at #4? Or will Heathens gain enough to leap frog it? This will be a very interesting top 5 we have here... Rock Bottom easily holds at #6 and only fails to rise due to the points of the top 5 being too high and its former rival Heathens rising way too fast. It successfully holds back I Took A Pill In Ibiza, which should easily hold onto #7 next week due to a still super slow decrease rate. I don't see this decrease rate increasing anytime soon, actually. Longevity monster alert! The #8-10 positions are also a close battle between Sit Still, Look Pretty, When I Think About You, and Can't Stop The Feeling. All three are still gaining, but the first one is gaining meteorically, the second is gaining slowly but very very very steadily, and the third one is slowing and should be peaking this week or next week. Their point values this week also should be pretty close, and since I'm too tired right now and I had too much work, I didn't really have time to calculate in depth... So as of right now, I'll leave it as a mystery who will emerge out victorious this week until Saturday. But one thing is for sure: with SSLP gaining considerable traction, it should be able to at least equal its former peak of #5 and probably passing it. Phew... 7 minute mid week update... and not in depth at all. I didn't even cover bubbling unders and I assumed no song was going to enter or reenter the top 10... Guess that's the consequence of not using my 2 free periods wisely. I'll learn to do better next time... {Spoiler} I was "flirting" with my crush instead of studying lol. We had Mandarin together for the past two years and we don't have any class together this year, so I barely got to talk with her. She has 7th period free and I have 6th and 7th free, so I got to talk with her in 7th today (I decided to stay at school during 7th, but I usually leave). Today was like the first day I got to talk with her since last school year. We have been friends for a while, but I think she's completely friendzoning me now and I actually think she thinks I'm a douche now :( at least we got some nice gains on BB Hot 100 today by some of my top songs, which probably made me a bit happier today

Kelsea Ballerini (8) Chicken077's Personal Chart - Week 89 (August 27, 2016): (KELSEA'S PETER PAN TIES THE HILLS FOR LONGEST TIME SPENT AT #1!!!)
Italics songs denote former or current #1 song Bold songs denote the song received a bullet this week Blue songs denote the song has spent 26 to 51 weeks in the top 100Red songs denote the song has spent 52 to 79 weeks in the top 100 Purple songs denote the song has spent 80+ weeks in the top 100 Green songs indicate a new or returning entry to the top 100
Microsoft's customer service's feedback this week wasn't that helpful... So now my dad's getting a copy of Microsoft Office from his company, but apparently he forgot over the past few days... So guess still no fancy format this week. Oh well, I might not have had time for it anyways... lots of weekend work and I'm really squeezing out my time to get this post through, so no blurbs this week.
This week and last week have kind of been characterized as weeks where point values went up a lot on my chart. So essentially, a song must gain substantial points to increase in rank. So its getting really competitive now! Quite a few songs gained points, but dropped in rank. High longevity songs are struggling these two weeks due to their plateauing points, but since everyone else gained so much, almost all fell in rank. In fact, two of the greatest songs of 2015 dropped out this week. They each scored 4 weeks and 5 weeks at #1 on my personal chart, and 14 weeks and 12 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Yep, the songs that sadly dropped out were Uptown Funk and See You Again, with 88 weeks and 72 weeks on my chart, respectively.
Also, feel free to spot any mistakes. I was kind of in a hurry when I did this this week, so the video/post might contain some errors.

(Wow... only one blue song in the bottom 50... All others black, red, or purple. Guess that means that songs usually drop quickly out of the bottom 50, scoring around 20-30 weeks, or songs take forever to fall)

Sucker For Pain and The Sound Of Silence are both in the top 40! Also, cool to see Starving reaching a new peak and We Don't Talk Anymore in the top 20 now as well as Gold surging although it's kind of burned out on me. Ride finally reaches the top 3! And Heathens gaining a lot of points! Hopefully, that can move up next week. Glad to see Final Song and Scars To Your Beautiful debuting and wow at Uptown Funk! and See You Again only just falling off. Also, it's quite funny that you and I both have ongoing 8-week #1's right now!

Maaaaannn don't worry 'bout her mate. They say that one shouldn't force love and instead let love come to them, which is what I'm gonna tell you. Also you better hope that when love does come to you and you meet someone who you think is the one you better pray they aren't already taken which is exactly what happened to me uuuuuuugggggggggghhhhhhhhh....... but other than that you should be fine.
Good chart as well though!

Yay Final Song debuts it should debut on my chart this week as I just listened to it for the first time yesterday lol Also really happy to see Starving making big gains and now in the top 25 Finally Ride gets a new peak Happy for Kelsea but lowkey hoping Peter Pan doesn't get any more weeks at #1 because The Hills is one of my favorite songs of the decade lolRooting for Heathens to get that #1 in the future! :) Great chart as always! I like/love almost all the songs! RIP Uptown Funk and Cake by the Ocean...
