Holy crap what an incredible album. I'd already heard half the songs on it prior to the release today (the 4 from the EP, plus the pre-release song "Rich", and Kelly Clarkson's version of "Second Wind"), but I was equally impressed with the other tracks. Not a bad song on the entire album. This is easily one of the top albums of 2016 for me.
Hopefully "80's Mercedes" is the next single because duh. But I'm hoping "Second Wind" gets a release too. Lots of crossover potential on this album too. Maybe not for Pop/CHR, but definitely HAC.

I know everybody loves "80s Mercedes" and its most likely the next single, but man "Rich" is really good. I hope that one is a single someday, its extremely catchy.

Sales projections: Drake will repeat at #1 on next week’s Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart for his sixth week in a row, longer than any male solo artist in at least the last ten years. Previously, Michael Bublé (2011), Eminem (2010) and Josh Groban (2007) all held down the #1 spot for five consecutive weeks. Paul Simon will likely take #1 on the Album Sales chart. Paul Simon (Concord) 58-63k SPS, 57-62k albums Volbeat (Republic) 42-47k, 40-45k Maren Morris (Columbia Nashville) 41-46k, 35-40k ( HDD)

I'm really liking this album so far. The only song I had heard before buying it is "My Church", which I like a lot, so I didn't really know what to expect. I am very impressed, however. After a couple of listens to the whole album, "80s Mercedes" is definitely the standout to me, but there are a lot of good tracks on here. "I Could Use A Love Song", "Rich", "Drunk Girls Don't Cry" and her version of "Second Wind" are also quite strong, imo. If radio is willing, she could have a string of hits from this album. The sales projection is also quite decent for a new, female country artist.

No projection for Dan + Shay, so it looks like it'll be her vs. Dierks for Country #1.

I don't know how Rich doesn't have an interpolation credit. It's straight up "The Joker" from Steve Miller. It also reminds me of "Pain Killer" from LBT. That being said, it's a good song. This whole record is very good.

i love her voice not so much the production on most of the tracks but here's my ranking of the target version
1. My Church - still my favorite love this song 2. 80's Mercedes - happy its the new single 3. Rich - this song has been stuck in my head 4. Drunk Girls Don't Cry 5. Bummin' Cigarettes - should have been on actual album 6. Sugar 7. Company You Keep - was not happy when this didn't make the cut from the EP 8. Space - why is this not on the actual album as well her vocals on this one are amazing 9. I Could Use A Love Song 10. Just Another Thing 11. I Wish I Was
these should've been the target bonus tracks only 12. Second Wind 13. Once 14. How It's Done - hate this song

This album is really, really good. I like this girl a lot and there's some great radio potential on here so I hope "80s Mercedes" and whatever comes third and (maybe) fourth do well for her at country radio. I haven't listened to this album that many times yet, but I'm definitely a fan. Nice to see her nab the #1 debut on the country charts, too.

I almost bought this at Target yesterday. The deluxe is only $10. Then, I put it down and had to talk myself through it. "Cody, you don't need every CD that comes out, put it down." So I did, streamed it on Apple Music last night and this morning and instantly am regretting not grabbing a physical copy. But, I have David Nail and Jake Owen coming next month. So...I'll just continue to stream this album and kick myself. (Being a die hard country music fan and a college student is not an easy situation to balance).
This is easily one of the best albums of the year. "I Could Use A Love Song" really connected. It's just good music. I am thrilled by this considering it took a while for "My Church" to grow on me. "Drunk Girls Don't Cry" is an interesting song. It has a unique arrangement and she delivers it quite well. She kind of reminds me of a young Miranda. Anyone else get this feel?

I'll admit I didn't care a lot for "My Church" until it's chart run started to fade, but man is this album good. I really like it and I feel like there's a certain Kacey Musgraves element to her as an artist, in a good way.

I went in with an open mind after hearing the EP and liking all of it. I can't get enough of this album. The funny thing is I love the songs that most here are saying should have been bonus tracks. "Once" is fantastic, Second Wind is great. Not sure what it is about this, but whole body of work is amazing. The production, songwriting, everything. Not sure where this fits, but at this point does it really matter?

I am becoming more and more obsessed with this album every day. Cannot take it out of my player...there really isn't a single bad song on it. They're all amazing! She is killing it live out on the road with Keith, too. I'm really happy for all the success she's getting and I'm really excited about her career.
