These are good questions.
The Regular Mix is like the main version or main remix of the song. That's a longer version or extended version.
The Mixshow Mix is a shorter version of the Club Mix or Regular Mix meant for radio mixshows and clubs.
Then a Dub Mix can take on several forms. It can have some vocal samples. It could be a complete instrumental. Sometimes it could completely have vocals. Sometimes it's a whole new track based on the instrumental.
The latest track by Duran Duran "What Happens Tomorrow" in the Peter Rauhofer mixes is the best example of all three.
It has a Main Mix, a Mixshow Mix, and a Dub Mix.

I figured that's what they generally were, but just wanted some more clarrification. another weird question, has there ever been any Cds released or mixed that are made up of entirely Dubs? I used to think dubs were boring, but now I'm really getting into them and am starting to like them a lot... are they generally popular with people though? weird questions i know. haha

These are more common on 12" vinyls. It's not very common, but it does happen every so often.
