Music Video (remix feat. T.I.)Live performanceThis was the third single of Mariah's mutliplatinum album from 2008, E=MC². Unfortuntaely, it didn't become a hit in the US or overseas, with the exception of Japan where it was a top 20 hit. Despite that, the song is AMAZING and a gem in her catalogue. I love when she does uptempos with that vintage flavor. One of my personal favorite 00s Mariah songs and definitely best song on the album. Pure summer joy!

I really love this song; it's a definite highlight for me in her catalogue. It's the one song from E that got consistently good feedback from my friends, non-fans and casual fans alike. I also enjoyed the TI remix and The Progressions remix (that won the remix contest back then...). The video was a bit meh, but I think that was mostly because Mariah hyped it up with promises of great surprises - which turned out to be her swimming with dolphins There were some good performances too. I remember really liking one from Japan (I think). From memory it was mostly lip-synced but she exuded confidence, marching and waving her hands all over the damn place!

I miss DJ Toomp and his productions. To my knowledge out of clientele like T.I., Kanye West, JAY Z, Nas, and The Game, she was the only female to get a production out of him and the only strictly singer as well. He never did R&B work until Mariah came to him and it's still his only one to date. It was just perfect fun summer jam. I loved the incorporation of the Debarge "Stay With Me" sample. Flipped an R&B groove that had been over used with a certain section and turned it into a great uptempo number to add to her category. The chorus is just heavenly and a great sing-a-long feature.

Easily the best single from the album.

There were some good performances too. I remember really liking one from Japan (I think). From memory it was mostly lip-synced but she exuded confidence, marching and waving her hands all over the damn place! That's the one I wanted to post but it's nowhere on YouTube. That performance was AMAZING. The stage effects, MC's stage presence, her hot body. "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" and "You Don't Know What To Do" should've been big. Not just big, actually, but #1's. I'll never get over their floppage. It's unfair!!! :'(

This song got good airplay in the UK and Italy, but at that point the era was dead. Such a shame it still makes me mad.
I love this song, it's easily my fav from that album and her best uptempo since the 90s.

It's still one of my favorite songs from the album. Such a shame that it didn't become a hit.
DJ Toomp went against the grain with the "Stay With Me" sample.

It's a decent song. Nothing new or exciting for her, but pleasant.

I can take or leave the original, but this unofficial remix has always had a special place in my heart.

Too bad this couldn't be on her #1's list with TMB. ("Shake It Off," "#Beautiful" and "YDKWtD" also robbed.) Absolute gold.

This is so good. Should have been a smash, but they f**ked everything up with "Bye Bye" and couldn't get it back on track.

I like it but it’s not a favorite. Migrate was the superior uptempo on the album imo.

I liked this one, and the sample just adds to it.

This should have been the lead single tbh, though "TMB" did its job. This jam falls in line with her classic lead singles, except that the vocal is sung so straight it's almost alarming. Still, this remains fresh and catchy.

This remix/mashup makes me anxious for summer. So breezy. Every time I hear it it sounds like it could be an authentic collaboration (though maybe cut & paste like most of her authentic collabs lol - imagine you've never heard the original songs). The flow is perfect. I actually put it on my digital edition of #1 to Infinity (since Locked Away came out in 2015). The original upload is no longer on soundcloud, so uploaded to my youtube page.

I just LOVE this so much! Every year around this time is when I start listening to it non-stop. It's such a glorious, summery upbeat jam. I never tire of it.
Here's the live performance we were talking about upthread:
I live for the fireworks and Mariah confidently strutting the stage. A gorgeous, skinny legend.

Here's a live performance Mariah did in the E=MC² era at the Teen Choice Awards -a 12 year old pre-teen performing for teens!- mashing up IBLULT with "Touch My Body":

Still, this remains fresh and catchy. I agree with this! Though TMB was a hit and has aged very well, I think it turned off some of the audience she had won back with TEOM. I would’ve released IBLYLT, then For The Record, then TMB and I think the album would’ve gotten to at least 2 times platinum.

She should re-release that song or update it and put it on her upcoming album.
