CNN aired a touching video montage of the 49 victims featuring the song. Also posted on his Twitter I cried while watching that.

This is beautiful. Simple and stripped down. She is constraint and yet giving us a little power where needed. A good type of album cut vibe and the fact it's for a good cause make its even better. I like the direction she is taking with her vocals on this one.

After bottoming out at #35 rised to #30 as of this morning. With little promotion it's stabilizing well in sales.

The song is good for what it is and it's a very sweet gesture. My only gripe is that it doesn't really go anywhere. I think a proper bridge would've helped the song feel a little more complete. But, nonetheless, it's nice to see Christina finally release some new music. Hopefully an album (and tour!!) will come along soon.

So happy to hear something like this from her! I'm always so nervous when I listen to a new Christina song or watch a Christina performance.

I really like this a lot but I agree with other's that it needs a bridge or something. I know it's not the point of the song but I think it could have done decently chart wise if it did. I think it's very pretty but raw and has some tempo to it. It's not the typical charity single that can start sounding a little cheesy. I believe another poster said it was recorded a few months or so ago. Maybe that has something to do with it? I have NO idea if that is true or not though.
Does anyone hear any similarities to John Mayer's "Waiting On The World to Change"? Or am I just hearing that because they both use the word "Change" through out the song? lol

Just watched her Kimmel performance, and that's the best she's sounded in years. Her voice was clear and powerful, and she made it seem effortless. A lot of control can go a long way. Here's to hoping she keeps this philosophy for whenever the next album era actually starts.

Her performance was nice. Her falsetto seemed a little off but her vocals were pretty clean for the most part. I'm liking this more and more. I hope it can do a little something at some format.

her best live performance in recent times was BY FAR the leaked but not aired duet with Whitney.

Why is this thread still here? Isn't an adds date mandatory?
