Thanks for posting - she’s seriously EVERYWHERE, one of the hardest, if not THE, hardest working artist in music. I can’t keep up- The Voice, TV show, Xmas duet with John, LV residency, new music/album VERY soon, Trolls 2 movie and song with promo in April 2020 + whatever else we don’t yet know about. Whenever I worry about the impact of all of this to her personal life, I have to remind myself that her husband is her manager, and she is THE BOSS in control of her what she does and with whom she does it.
If anyone had asked me several years ago if I would ever imagine that in her late 30s after kids and in the 18th year of her career that she would be omnipresent and arguably at the peak of her star power with her own multimedia brand, I would have placed those odds at slim to none. This is the best epoch to be a KC fan !

SNL has a surprise musical guest for the Dec 21st show. Kelly announced she has something new coming very soon. She is an NBC staple. Any chance it is her? She could perform whatever this new song is and do a Christmas song. Right in her wheelhouse.

^While I'd love that, I don't see them keeping her as a surprise. I'd imagine it's either Adele dropping a single or Mariah gunning for #1 with AIWFCIY. Or something lame like U2 lol.

I think either of those is very possible. The reason I could see them keeping Kelly as a surprise is because she hasn’t announced new music officially. So her team may have requested they not name her so she can make the announcement herself, probably on her show. Honestly, I’d be happy with any of Adele, Mariah or Kelly so I hope it is one of them.

I thought it was confirmed to not be Mariah? I thought so but after the whole Adele fiasco a few weeks back I’ve learned not to trust anything.

Adorbs. Wednesday's Cover: Cake By The OceanThursday's Cover: RideLove today’s cover - one of my favourites of this season thus far. The video of Kelly’s kids “interviewing” Jason has gone viral haha- nearly 2 million viewers. Her subscriber number has increased by 150k just in the past week or so with 2 viral videos (the John Cena one + this one).

Bumping this to the next page because we didn't talk nearly enough about this! So many interesting tidbits - Jason is so incredibly in-tune with Kelly's talents, what her strengths are, etc. They're lucky to have each other.

Watching the Kobe and Martha Stweart interviews! Was wondering why her show seemed to suddenly start booking bigger guests and then I realized it's sweeps so that makes sense. Next week's roster looks good too.

Preparing for an everyday Kellyoke is indeed a lot of work and it's great to see the efforts are being appreciated so much by the public. Same, Jason.

Very happy to see that she working on the record and that she's not doing at the speed of light. Here for quality!
On a side note, I wish Kelly would use the Taylor situation as an opportunity to talk about her relationship with RCA and special incidents that happened.

^Eh. With Taylor, it's a situation that is going on right now. Kelly's incidents happened 10+ years ago. Hasn't she said she liked RCA during and after the Stronger era? I'm okay with her remaining silent on it, at least for now. No need to stir up drama for publicity.
Having said that, if/when we get an autobiography from Kelly, I want a tell all.

Monday's Cover: Uptown Funk Hitting those F5/G5s with ease. I love that post-talk show, she has been regaining her upper register chest vocal fluidity towards her 2013 peak in that register, while having arguably the most fluid head voice (especially with chest to head transitions) in the business.

It’s crazy how much I hate Uptown Funk - even Kelly can’t make me enjoy it, which is saying a lot (obv)
